We have been down the United Healthcare road here in the past. Obamamacare had a clause for a reserve to use if companies kept their rates low and lost money. It was pushed through declaring the threshold would be very unlikely to be breached. Rubio caught on and limited the loss recoveries to the set asides. He was told his actions were ridiculous.
The kitty had $300 million in it when the Feds got requests for $2.8 billion. They got the $30o Million and Rubio was attacked for trying to kill Obamacare as insurance carriers eating the loss threatened to bail. The social democrats want the Feds to bail out insurance companies as significant rate increases are not what they want.
What is either nuts or part of the plan is the Feds allow massive consolidations in the healthcare industry reducing competition and creating friendly oligarchies too big to fail. Meanwhile the GOP sorts out their friends.
I’m looking at a blue container of Morton Salt, with its motto: “When it rains it pours…” Maybe Hillary can borrow that girl’s umbrella.

This is probably one of the best political ads I’ve seen in an awfully long time…even on a slightly emotional level

Dude that’s a lot of white people in Bernie’s America.
Fair point.
Can someone explain why some of my comments await moderation while some others dont? I’ve looked for a FAQ or something similar or a place to pose my question but cant seem to find one…nothing I have posted seems controversial
If you write your comments on the back of a $20 bill and send it to Charlie’s attention they are fast-tracked and posted immediately. Alternatively, for a discount, you can send them to me on a $10 bill and I’ll in turn pass them on to Charlie. Slight delay, but saves you a sawbuck.
