WGST GeorgiaPol Radio – Home Stretch Edition
Qualifying will be over when we hit the air on 640 AM at noon, and the legislature will have just five days left after today. We’re closing one chapter as we begin another.
What does that mean for radio today? Well, the religious freedom debate has achieved Godwin’s law, we may have guns and/or stun guns on campus, The Democratics finally found someone willing to write a check in order to lose to Johnny Isakson, Paul Broun still needs a job, and The GOP nomination may be cleared up as early as Tuesday. Jon Richards, Stefan Turkheimer, and me will join Sully in studio to discuss.
Will that fit in an hour? I don’t know, but I’ve been drinking mainlining coffee since 8:15 am. And I’m not stopping now.
Tune in at noon on 640AM, or listen live at this link right here.

Swoopstake. The RSIW of the week is swoopstake.
Thank you in advance.
You sir are an integral cod in my lexicon expansion plans.
Also, I actually knew this one cause of Hamlet. Yay for my 8th grade English teacher!
I’m glad to help broaden your vocabulary Lea, but why do you call me a fish?
If the scales fit….
Also, Swoopstake – done.
Cool, thanks. I’ll schedule some time tomorrow to catch the replay of the show. I wonder if you worked into the conversation as smoothly as you did with ‘aglet’.
I think ‘cod’ was a typo on Lea’s part. I believe she meant to say I was a god…or a cad. I’ve been called both, though never a cod.
grrrr. that was supposed to say cog.
we regret the error and blame others…
I prefer to go with my first assumption regarding your typo.
