Morning Reads — March 28th
Happy Monday, everyone! My Easter was eventful: a nail punctured my tire and I spilled chocolate sauce on the Easter bunny. Here’s to hoping you’re in a chocolate coma of sorts this morning!

Did not make it into the MRs, but it’s noteworthy.
Tinder users supporting Cruz. LOL. Is that where National Enquirer came up with those five women?
Candidates have plausible deniability down pat, when will they condemn the sources of these “lies” if they appear to come from their camp ?
Neighbors have “not my concern”, down pat and protectors stand down as terrorists do their thing looting, shooting, blowing up or even crucifying a priest.
The comical event of last week was the Atlanta Airport TSA proving they could out panic and outrun passengers in the terminal while screaming “active shooter, get out”.
….It appears Georgia has already lost business from the RFRA debate…
Gov Deal making big announcement at 10 AM. My bet he is giving Sen. McKoon and company a big “time-out” by putting a veto on their job killing bill RFRA. Gov Deal wants his legacy surrounded by being the jobs governor.
So Brian Gregory got fired as Tech’s basketball coach (on “Good” Friday of all days) but will paid over the next two years about $1.2 million not to coach there—and his predecessor, Paul Hewitt, will still be collecting another 3 years. not to coach there Wonder where Tech’s athletic department will find money to bring in a top-notch coach? Wish I could find one of those type jobs where if you get the ax, you are paid several years not to work…does make me wonder about who is negotiating these ridiculous contracts?
aug,
It is catch 22, they need more fans especially after the cost of the new arena, and Gregory is not getting the top tier recruits to draw fans. You are right, the legacy contracts drain resources to turn the ship around. GT obviously plays in the toughest conference in the country for B Ball, making it even harder to get to the next level. In looking how well the ACC did it in the final four tournament, one could argue GT would of made the tournament had they not been in the ACC. Not sure how much of upgrade at all getting a Mark Price like resume candidate verse what they have now? GT academic requirements makes this even tougher….
The local Milwaukee Conservative radio station, WTMJ AM620 and establishment Midwestern #nevertrump Charlie Skyes had a good morning. His guest, mr. Trump – not so much. (And all in a WiConsin accent…)
