GeorgiaPol Radio – Episode 13 for April 14, 2016: Chalking Up A Surprise
It’s back! The GeorgiaPol #RINORadioPowerHour is back on the air this week after Charlie went away to find his sanity to an undisclosed location for a little post-Georgia General Assembly rest and relaxation….or something. Probably for #moarbourbon.
Anyway, this week’s live performance on the first hour of The Sully Show on WGST was actually a day early, but, lucky you, you get it a day early too!
Here’s this week’s synopsis:
- Segment 1: Sully compliment’s Charlie’s rested, now semi-bearded look. After discussion on why Sully isn’t taking GeorgiaPol Radio as a date to his remote tomorrow in Gwinnett County, Charlie and Jon talk about the visit from Milo Yiannopoulos to the Emory University campus. Yiannopoulos (say his name three times fast) is an openly gay Millennial conservative who is also a big time Trump supporter. Charlie and Jon talk about the seemingly escalation of rhetoric between the far-left and far-right as a contribution to what is wrong with modern-day politics
- Segment 2: George Chidi joins to talk about politics in DeKalb County. George wrote a four installment piece about the politics in his home county this week. You should check it out: Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
- Segment 3: Congressional politics and how most of the Georgia Republican Congressional delegation have a challenger. Charlie and Jon talk about the interesting races in GA-9, GA-11, and the open seat in GA-3.
- Segment 4: Speaking of congressional districts, the district GOPs in each of Georgia’s 14 congressional districts will be holding conventions to name delegates and alternates who will represent their home districts in Cleveland, OH in July. Anti-Establishment, Grassroots, #TheEvilEstablishment, TEA Party, screeches from Trumpettes…it all makes for an interesting weekend.
That’s all for this week’s edition of GeorgiaPol Radio. You can listen to the #RINORadioPowerHour every week on The Sully Show at 12 noon Eastern Daylight Time on WGST 640AM in the Atlanta area or anywhere on our big blue marble with an Internet connection on your desktop or iHeartRadio app. We are always grateful to Rich “Sully” Sullivan for allowing the GeorgiaPol gang to take over the airwaves on WGST. We’ll see you next week!
