Does Campus Carry become law?
Deal is announcing his decision tomorrow.
PC Police edit out Curt Schilling in ESPN documentary. I guess he didn’t know when to shut up…

I thought old “suck up” Newtie wanted to be Trumpet’s Secretary of State but now he wants VP. Maybe he also wants wife Callista for Secretary of Education or secretary of something.
I my Repub way of thinking, Newt is likely the smartest man in any political room he walks in to. He’d be a good VP or SecState to anyone. He could be Trump’s Cheney.
I agree he is knowledgeable but that’s about all he would add as VP. He would not bring a state, another constituency or a demographic group with him. Perhaps he could make a decent Secretary of State.
The thing about Newt is, if you don’t like what he’s saying, just stick around a while and he’ll say the opposite. Then he’ll claim it’s the only view he’s ever held. He’s a smart enough guy and a brilliant propagandist but as policy maker and pundit he’s shown himself to be shallow and contradictory. He’d be a disaster as VP or SecDef or SoS.
WH correspondence dinners are usually full of jokes and barbs gone wild, but when Al Sharpton blushes……..
Perhaps I overlooked a reference a morning read reference on the Cobb Braves….
“Over the last 15 years, the Braves have extracted nearly a half a billion in public funds for four new homes, each bigger and more expensive than the last.” “If there’s one thing the Braves know how to do, it’s how to get money out of taxpayers.”
From a four page story “The Braves Play Taxpayers Better Than They Play Baseball” in the 2 May 2 Businessweek edition. The story was primarily about Pearl, MS taxpayers being taken on a ride before it happened to Gwinnett County……
On Pearl…..“By the time it was public, the whole thing was done.” Sound familiar? The history is that Cobb County will have been lucky if losses don’t mount.
The Braves are learning as they deal, ergo the smaller Cobb stadium. A graphic with story on attendance at the new stadiums shows Rome Braves seats sold per game falling from nearly 70% to 50%, the Mississippi Braves falling from over 40% to the low 30’s, likewise the Gwinnett Braves falling from over 50% to the same low 30’s.

As we head into Hoosier Tuesday:
Ted Cruz is done, finally. He weaseled his way onto all the Sunday shows to regurgitate the same line of attack against Trump and sounded as desperate as any candidate in recent memory. As in most races, the candidate is the last to realize he/she does not have a snowball’s prayer in hell of winning.
Carly will be 0-3 in her attempt to get elected to something, anything which doesn’t bode well for her future in elected office. As a former Carly supporter, one regrettably has to question her ability to separate ego based desire from logical decision making.
Trump will have many choices for VP as longtime pols clamor to become his running mate. After the dust settles, I think it will be a Trump / Rubio ticket. Can’t wait for the press dinner next year with Trump as the headliner.
I know you and I have discussed this before, TJ, but I just don’t see Rubio being able to separate all of the insults. I know he’d be a heartbeat away, but, man, I just think it would be hard to put it all past me if I were him. I know he’d be an asset to be able to help deliver FL. But being VP, he’d have to defend Trump and act as his attack dog up until the election. I just cannot call this one! If I had a gun to my head, I’d say Kasich or Christie.
Rubio will be unemployed soon. Rubio is a politician. Rubio needs a gig that will help him advance his political career (same for Christie). IMO the only question is whether Trump sees any advantage to picking him.
You’re right on all of these points!
Just voted early. Was voter number 8 or 9. I’m in the Loudermilk district. Do any of you pols give anyone a chance of knocking him off. The only direct mail I’ve gotten from a challenger is from Cowan. There are a couple of others but I know absolutely nothing about them.
How do you have cities dating to the 1800-1810’s but they skip Savannah 1738, and the whole town and fort system of Glynn, MacIntosh Liberty Counties?
Absolutely. Confirmed my BS impression (oldest misrepresentation) with most lists when it ignored the Colonial and Revolutionary times.
Does anyone know if WSB’s Jamie Dupree is having health issues? I heard Herman mention a voice prob. I miss the guy. He knows a ton and he’s the only reason I listen to morning WSB anymore.
And so it begins. Imagine this ad minus the part about Sen. Boozman running in every battle ground state this summer and fall. Trump loses women voters by 30+ points. There aren’t enough angry white guys to make up that difference. Good job guys. You picked a winner. Somehow, Trump’s massive loss to Hillary is going to be the “establishment’s” fault and not the fact that we nominated a misogynist, racist, POS to be our nominee. #TeamWinning

To the Ga Pol lawyers: Why did the defense attorneys not request a change of venue to move the Ross Harris Hot Car Trial to South Ga somewhere? Not bringing in jurors but getting a jury pool in say , Valdosta, to hear the whole case down there? No way in hell he gets a fair trial in Cobb, no matter what the jurors say. They’re quibbling as we speak about bringing in outside jurors.
Damn, ‘ol Noway is just a Swami! Does anybody want a stock pick from me today?! LOL! The trial will move elsewhere!
“Patriot, I’m not convinced that we will defeat Hillary Clinton with our weakest nominee in over four decades!” “….we need a strong, principled conservative like Ted Cruz for President.” – Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund, Jenny Beth Martin
“Friend, we must keep fighting until this nomination is sewn up. The establishment will do whatever it takes to defeat Trump rather than supporting him as the Presidential front-runner. ” – Great America PAC, Amy Kremer
Both sent as desperate, last minute, save America fundraisers for their respective groups. Ironically the two ladies now competing for funds were part of the original team that helped kickstart the Tea Party movement. Really pitiful how the pursuit of personal gain infects otherwise strong concepts meant to correct fiscal problems facing this country. Charlie has it right, ‘false prophets seeking false profits’.
