Happy Birthday to Nathan–Welcome to Old Age
When people speak of the GOP Kingmakers of Northwest GeorgiaTM, they are really only speaking of one person. And that is our own Nathan Smith!
Nathan turns 30 today, but he’s well versed in being old, having been a certified Ham Radio operator (who even went so far as to get a customized call sign) for years. You’ll make contact with a P5XXXX someday….
Despite those shortcomings he is what we could use more of in our political world: a genuinely good guy who is thoughtful, deliberate and not afraid to tell his fellow partisans when they are wrong.
Even though he’s old and nerdy we still love like appreciate tolerate Nathan and the only way I can show I care is by linking to a song that oh-so-perfectly represents him. Without further ado:
