Happy Birthday America.
The best country in the history of…history! Happy Birthday to us!! Burgers, dogs, BBQ, the works!! Sitting watching Wimbledon! Go Sam Querrey!!
Don’t forget to remember all that we do have without forgetting all of the ways in which we can do better.
The only two barbecue places in GA identified on the list as “best in America” are in Savannah (SAVANNAH???) and the Korean fusion place in Atlanta?
I cannot abide such sacrilege and blasphemy.
At least they got Lexington Barbecue right.
There’s a fair case to be made that Heirloom Market is the finest example of barbecue that best represents the cultural amalgam that is Atlanta. Texas+Korea+Georgia=OMG.
But drink and float your guts out. Cheers Rep. Lumsden!
*mind the gators in the Chattahoochee.
