Hmmmm. Could that mean that he’s about to be announced as VP? Or maybe he’s just tired of alleged advances from Roger Ailes.
Regardless, it appears we’re on the verge of Trump announcing his VP choice. Speculate on Newt’s chances or offer a suggestion/pick of your own in the comments below.

If he allows us #NeverTrump people to move to his space colony, I have no problem with this choice.
Both of Newt’s losses to Jack Flynt before finally winning his seat in Congress would rank as career highlights when compared to being Donald Trump’s running mate.
Good lord. How could anyone possibly make Trump a less appealing candidate?
Well he could pick Hilly for vp.
Sarah Palin? (I’m not being snarky, I truely mean Sarah Palin would be less appealing.)
Read a story last night mentioning Santorum or Huckabee… yikes.
Trump’s social media director tweeted earlier about heading back to IL, so I assume Governor Mike Pence is either getting the good or bad news. (You decided which is which)

I read that Nathan and thought… Why is he going beck to Illinois? Good job confusing the Midwesterner.
Win-Win for Newt. Even with a loss his speaking fees increase. As far as Hilly is concerned, she better pick Bernie. His folks are livid.
My Madison pal is repainting his Bernie sigh to a Jill Stein sign as I type this.
Should we expect Trump’s announcement of a running mate before or after Trump’s next charitable contribution or release of income taxes?
Oh please please please. That would be good for the country!
And the deal with Fox News just means they don’t have to pay him when they have him on. Or maybe he was paying them to have him on, not sure.
