Trump vs. father of fallen vet and other twits, aka, stating the obvious.
Trump must pick up that the media is not his friend. He continues to fall for the diversions by the progressive snakes and wanders from the objective. Keep it up and he twitters away a chance to stop Clinton’s corrupt organization from controlling the Executive Branch and the Judicial, particularly the Supreme Court.
Or Trump could try to not say stupid crap all the time. The media has nothing to do with the disrespectful comments Trump made about the Khans. He said what he said. At it was stupid.
Wonder when the dem media will get around to showcasing Pat Smith in the same manner as the Kahns? Trump tweeted leading to no destruction, no deaths. Hillary ignored calls for security leading to much destruction and at least 4 deaths. This provides a great example of the double standard applied to politically charged stories.
If Trump had kept his damn mouth shut no one would have heard about this. It’s a story becasue Trump made it a story. He is as dumb (politically) as the brick that I use as a door stop in my office.
“Donald Trump and I believe that Captain Humayun Khan is an American hero and his family, like all Gold Star families, should be cherished by every American,” the Indiana governor said in a statement.”Captain Khan gave his life to defend our country in the global war on terror.”
That is all that needs to be said. I just wish this came from our nominee and not Pence, but Trump is too egotistical to look like he is apologizing.
Wouldnt the double standard you are reaching for have occurred if Sec Clinton had somehow been immature enough to attack Mrs. Smith after her speech? But that didnt happen. Sec Clinton was politically saavy enough to NOT get baited into that.
Look, I understand you support Mr. Trump but you are reaching with this one. Mr. Trump fumbled this one. I wish he would just shut up and move on. In politics, unfortunately perception is sometimes reality. And the perception here is that he is bullying a Gold Star family. Not good!
Good point. I’m a Trump supporter, too. But he gained nothing in making his comments about Mrs. Kahn. He does Shoot From the Lip too often. He should apologize and stay on his messages that earned him the nomination.
What is this world coming to??! Noway and I agree? Is up down? Is left right? The rapture is coming isnt it?!
LOL
I just see it as you two getting smarter! 🙂
Lea, HRC was immature enough to blatantly lie to Pat Smith on the tarmac as her needlessly dead son was being received off the transport plane. I guess that could be defined as ‘political savvy’, lie to a Gold Star Mother when nobody else can hear it instead of tweeting the lie.
Other family members who were there remember things differently from Smith. Do you discount their recollection of events?
Here is the fact check – http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2016/jul/18/checking-patricia-smiths-claims-about-clinton-and-/
Seems there are conflicting stories but I’ll take Smith’s word for it.
Or everybody could stop looking for any reason to be offended, including Trump.
We could all try to stop defending stupid Trump comments just because he is our nominee as well.
We haven’t even touched on some of the more recent stupid or ignorant trump comments. How about his recent statement that Putin won’t invade Ukraine? Of course he won’t invade Ukraine because he has already invaded them.
I don’t know what is more troubling. The fact that Trump has no idea what is going on in the world or that he would rather pick a fight with a Muslim family that lost a son fighting for our country.
Completely understand when the Don is at bat and the media is pitching, it is fast ball, bean ball time, and when Hillary is at bat it is underhand soft pitch. Everybody knows it is not fair but nothing in politics is and he should be smart enough not to take the bait. That is the way it is and Trump needs to learn to deal with it.
Headed out with proof of residency location and picture ID (DL) to pay $47.50 at Walmart for a computerized non-resident Florida salt water fishing license. Sure wish they would go for a Democrat idea like the no ID to vote one, just let me fish. But then my fish money goes for a good cause (if it ever gets to game and fish).
Just when I thought I may vote Trumpet, he gives me another reason not to vote for him. His response was silly and unnecessary. He should have said nothing.
On the other side we have the dems showing us one Muslim soldier that died in Hilly’s Iraq war out of almost 4500 total US fatalities. All deaths should be mourned, not just one death. It should also be noted while Muslims comprise 1% of our population they are less than 1/3 of 1% of the military.
When the Don and the press get done 1/3 of 1% will be 33%. The Don needs to stay on issue points until the press, not him, asks Hillary if she is going to use the same desk Bill did when Monica was around……truth with consequences.
Perhaps the Clintons will hire Monica. Her title would be “special assistant.”
Of course Khan did honor all of the fallen in his remarks.
A Muslim made these remarks precisely because of Trump’s previous comments about Muslims.
It doesn’t matter what percentage of Muslims serve or get killed.
You appear to be trying to devalue the contribution of Muslims- and this Muslim in particular.
(This was supposed to be a response to gcp.)
The dems used this deceased soldier and his family only because they are Muslim. I, in contrast, honor all those that died honorably in service to their country. I don’t diminish his death nor do I elevate his death beyond the other 4500 that served and died.
Rather have Trumps fingers on the code than China and Russia on Hillarys server and donor speed dial.

Thanks for advertising it, John! 🙂
There was a time when most Americans deferred to the GOP on foreign policy. The general silence of the GOP establishment in response nominee Trump publicly spouting off irresponsibly about foreign policy in his comment about NATO and expressed admiration of Putin, indicates those days are over.
GOP partisanship Trumps foreign policy, a consideration when silent GOP establishment types next speak about foreign policy. Is what they say in the interest of the country, or in the interest of their party? The pattern is clear.
I’ll note for the benefit of young Republicans (that unlike much of the GOP base may have memory of more than last week, though not many in years) that remarks on foreign policy may have unintended consequences. YR weren’t around in the run up to the first Iraq War, so it’s no discredit to be unaware of 26 year old details.
The American Ambassador to Iraq in early 1990 at a time of Iraqi-Kuwaiti disagreement inquired of the Iraqi high command about Iraq’s military preparations and the massing of Iraqi troops near the Kuwait border,. Iraq had been a cold war ally of the Soviet Union. The American Ambassador declared Washington, “inspired by the friendship and not by confrontation, does not have an opinion” on the disagreement between Kuwait and Iraq, stating “we have no opinion on the Arab–Arab conflicts”. She also let Saddam Hussein know that the US did not intend “to start an economic war against Iraq”. These statements may have caused Saddam to believe he had received a diplomatic green light from the US to invade Kuwait, something that occurred a few months later.

A personal upside is no longer any need to bother defending bad judgment and possible compromise of national security when Trump supporters say “Clinton emails”. The GOP’s Presidential nominee advocates foreign hacking of US e-mail systems (It’s just kidding, that Donald is such a comedian) and broadcasts his suggestion the US won’t uphold its treaty obligations (hey, it’s the world’s greatest negotiator using Putin to pressure allies).
Make America Great Again! successor to We want our country back.
Since the country has arguably never been greater that it is now for minorities.
Quick question: Does anybody know if Jamie Dupree is sick? I know he’s having voice issues. But he hasn’t been on Herman’s show in a while. He IS, as they say, “the most connected man in DC…” I hope he’s ok.
More nekkid pics of Melania? Well, I guess Trump just sewed up the LGBT vote! LOL!
Hey, do you want nekkid pics of Hillary ?
Seriously tho, Hillary should just stay in her traditional Chinese uniform, I’d prefer her in an abaya.
Just got email videos of Obamas daughter Malia at lollapalooza pulling up her skirt to twerk her butt……my conclusion, she is a teenager…….her father on the other hand is……….redacted…….
Time for a time out
More ham-handed Dem tactics against Trump. Fire Marshall closes half filled meeting site. Lovvvve it! How many more Average Joes just decided to cast their ballot for Trump? Keep it up! LOL!

The finalized layout of any space for Mr. Trump or Sec. Clinton is the Secret Service. If the Secret Service required some doors to be dogged down for Mr. Trump’s safety, or to be used only by Trump, you lose all occupant loads out of that door opening. If he had a floor space for 3400 people, that requires at least 10 pairs of 3′-0″ doors under standard fire and building code occupant load calculations. But if the secret service limited crowd egress to 3 pairs, that’s a door load of 1020 people. Doesn’t mater the open space if you can’t handle the calculated rate of exit. Some very large spaces have modeled egress and smoke models so door numbers could be lower in optimized use, but if you start messing with those doors and locking down exits not planned to be restricted (who really plans for a Secrete Service level visit in a convention center exhibit hall when they build a tax payer funded public structure), you need to go back to the legal number of people per opening.
