Georgia Voices Join Call for A Special Prosecutor to Investigate Hillary Clinton
It has not been a good week for Hillary Clinton. The Federal Bureau of Investigation discovered 14,900 additional emails from Hillary Clinton’s private email server that had not previously been identified. An investigation by the Associated Press shows that more than half of those representing private interests who met with Clinton while she was Secretary of State donated to the Clinton Foundation.
The stream of bad news for the Democratic presidential candidate led Donald Trump to call for a special prosecutor to investigate the matter. From Politico:
Trump argued during a campaign rally in Akron, Ohio, that the federal government could not be trusted to impartially probe Clinton’s relationship to the foundation and its donors.
“The Justice Department is required to appoint an independent Special Prosecutor because it has proven itself to be a political arm of the White House,” he said.
This morning, prominent surrogates in Georgia amplified Trump’s message. From Senator David Perdue:
Actions speak louder than words, and this is just another example of Hillary Clinton’s questionable ethics and integrity. Whether you are the Secretary of State, or want to be the Commander-in-Chief, pay-to-play politics is wrong. If then-Secretary Clinton potentially prioritized her time based on dollar signs instead of foreign policy goals that should be thoroughly examined. Any responsible leader would have avoided this situation all together instead of charging their friends for special treatment and access to the State Department. People are struggling to make it from payday to payday and our country is in a national debt crisis. These are the real issues facing our country, and the American people deserve better than career politicians who put their personal profits ahead of our national interests.
Former Congressman and federal prosecutor Bob Barr, who supported Ted Cruz in the GOP primary, offered his assessment:
Donald Trump is right. Evidence of a pay-to-play relationship between Hillary Clinton’s State Department and the Clinton Foundation has become so clear, that the only way to get to the bottom of the mess is to have an investigation by a Special Prosecutor. The Obama Justice Department has proven unwilling and incapable of conducting a credible investigation despite requests from some of its field offices and the FBI, and Hillary Clinton has lied to the American people for months. Only an independent counsel can investigate the Clinton Foundation fairly and impartially.

Missing Plane : CNN :: Clinton Indictment : GOP.
Congress comes up empty. The Bush Administration’s FBI Director said it wasn’t criminal. I know, let’s get Ken Starr 2.0 on the case! That’ll do it.
To quote Hilly, “What difference – at this point, what difference does it make?”
Sad that have to ask this: Who appoints a special prosecutor?
Barr should stick to impeachment, what with his success concerning Hillary’s old man and everything. The other two dimwits unsurprisingly are ignorant of the low bar the Supremes recently established in their recent ruling in the McDonnell case. Can I get a Benghazi?
I know you all have been waiting for me opinion on all this, so I’ll not disappoint further.
I’m fascinated by Trump. He is as thrilling a candidate as I’ve seen in awhile, when it comes to shaking the foundation of the corrupt status quo. But you know what else is thrilling? Scooting off the edge of the pavement on a motorcycle while taking a North GA twistie. For an instant, its thrilling.
But the aftermath would not be worth the thrill. Trump has made it clear that the only people who could support and vote for him are simply bigots. If you have ever nodded your head vigorously over anything he ever said about Mexicans, walls, Moooslems or terr’ists, then yes, you are a bigot. Either accept it, or do some deep self reflection about your levels of empathy/apathy. Remember, ‘bigot’ is just a label. Only you, personally, have the power to remove that label.
We are seeing an acceleration of the transition of white power. White males are no longer needed to run the system, when you have minorities willing to work the same jobs for much less, in pursuit of that ever dangling carrot called ‘a job’. Georgia is a bastion of White Patriarchy. Hell, look at the pasty white face of the Chairman of the Democratic party, and ask if he is a reflection of the Democrat strengths in GA (hint: they are female and they are black. DuBose Porter is Saltine white).
Some of you long time conservatives are feeling this squeeze at the table. This is why so many of you have been ANGRY for 8 years. It’s YOUR table, why should you share it with THEM? And that anger has been manipulated, and misdirected at anything not like you or yours. Like..people of color. gays, Women who are equal to the tasks you do.
So, in desperation, you grasp for The Great White Hope. The Cheeto Jesus™ . The one person who seems to connect to your fears, and assures you all will be well, and the coloreds will be put in their propers.
I feel for you. We don’t have much of a choice on the left. HRC is too damaged. She is the embodiment of the corruption that pervades through the status quo. HRC is the problem.
But Trump is not the solution. Look, the fix is in. HRC is going to win, but she is not going to pull a lot of down line Democrats in GA. In the process, she has ripped the curtain back, and shown the Wizard to be but a puppet. 45% of her party is headed in a new direction, away from neo-liberal social and neo-conservative foreign policy that has become our new one party government.
She will win, but the country will be in a political uproar and sites like these will quadruple with participants.
I predict HRC will be an impotent POTUS because of all the legal charges and impeachment proceedings the remnants of the RNC will gleefully play out. They are seasoned veterans at getting nothing done.
I also predict if Trump wins, in 4 years the GOP will become as pertinent as the Green Party is nationally.
Have a great morning, folks!
Niceeeeee, Rick!
