How on earth did Square Books in Oxford, MS not make that list?
I voted for Lizard People in GA-06.
According to a poll released today, Randy Evans is speaking truth to Republicans. Thanks, Randy.
73 percent of Republicans think the election could be stolen from Trump.
Randy said the election could be rigged. It’s incredibly irresponsible to entertain these sentiments without proof.
Not to mention, just because people *think* something doesn’t mean it’s true. Right? I mean, many people believe Trump sexually assaulted multiple women, so does that mean it’s true? Cmon.
Either Evans agrees with the majority of gopers that the election could be rigged or he is pretending to believe because he wants to stand tall with the people he represents. One way he’s credulous and irresponsible, the other he’s cynical and insinuating.
Thanks, Randy.
taking two sides of the issue certainly seems lawyerly. takes one to know one. leave open the door of possibility of electoral irregularities in order to lay the ground for potential legal action- – in the court of public opinion.
but this quote: “Only the rule of law performed by election workers enforced by lawyers informed by citizens decided by courts is the only sure way…” …is a mess. great rhetoric, but the only substantive thing it indicates is that he’s itching to sue.
No mention of the firebombed Repub campaign office in The Reads?
You cannot steal something away from someone if it was never attainable in the first place.
Trump just continues this narrative that all media is out to get him so that he can start his own network after Hillary beats the pants off of him. He’ll try to cash in on his followers’ ignorance and continue to harm the republican party and our country in the process.
Sorry, this was in response to xdog’s comment above. Not sure how that happened.
i didn’t see it either, but feel it’s important:

this incident is very weird to me. one thing: swastikas were painted on wall next door, with words akin to “Nazi Republicans get out”.
i may be wrong, but in my experience, swastikas are not typically used to impose a Nazi identity on others. they can be self-brandished to identify oneself as Nazi, or used as further destruction and intimidation of Jews or others. it can indicate ownership like a graffiti tag. but the Nazi identity was imposed here, like a facebook thread gone dangerously out of control. and what’s to gain? from a very cynical perspective, the republican party had more to gain through blame, as if it was a black ops. like randy evans, i will leave the possibilities open.
Gingrich says Trump would be up 15 points if the media didn’t do its job. Really? You mean Trump would be leading by a margin close to Ronald Reagan’s 18-point landslide over Walter Mondale in 1984 (49 states), even with the significant demographic changes in the country since then? Isn’t this the same Newt Gingrich who said as a presidential candidate in 2012 that he could make California competitive (a state Obama won by 3 million votes last time)? Golly, next thing I expect, he’ll say that up in the Atlanta area, John Lewis and Hank Johnson are vulnerable in their ultra-Democratic districts….
Saying “The election is rigged!” is like saying “The whole internet is down!”

Conspiracy knows no bounds!
Anybody who watched the Falcons – Seahawks game yesterday could make a valid argument that the game was ‘rigged’ based on numerous missed calls by the refs. There is no proof that the refs conspired to favor the home team Seahawks and their very dedicated fans, but the on field action provided plenty of evidence pointing in that direction. I bet Matt Ryan if he can walk today after so many late hits would agree.
Sometimes the eyes don’t lie. Same for the presidential campaign, sometimes what you see is actually what is happening whether by plan or pure coincidence. If Trump loses, media bias will not shoulder all the blame, but definitely deserves a look.
How much of this is media bias, and how much is it that the media is following the lead of the candidates? Much of campaign journalism is covering the statements the candidates make, and Trump has clearly not taken advantage of that.
So when the FBI declines to prosecute Hillary, does Trump go after that, making it his message of the day / week? No, he goes after Judge Curiel. So Trump’s bigotry becomes the story. This week, revelations from Wikileaks (which by the way the media are going to try to verify before wholesale publishing) provide Trump with several chances to use the news cycle to make Hillary look bad. But instead, he calls for drug tests at the next debate, without any logical reason why this should be done.
In short, instead of making a coherent argument about Clinton’s shortcomings and why he is the better candidate for the job, his media microphone extends to echoing Breitbart conspiracy theories.
Why is it Trump’s fault’ that the media is not doing it’s job?
It is not Trump’s job to cover all the shenanigans taking place within ClintonWorld even though he and his team try. That is why we have media. But unfortunately the majority of the major media outlets would rather sensationalize a story about Trump possibly bumping a lady 30 years ago instead of digging deep into the FBI / State dept relationship, wikileaks, etc. At this very moment, Fox is covering just released docs showing a possible quid pro quo between the FBI and State dept. MSNBC on the other hand…lol, blasting Trump over the rigged election statement with absolutely no mention of real news about collusion within our federal government.
I have been cable and internet less since Matthew hit Georgia last weekend. My only news sources this weekend has been the Facebook feeds of my chosen news outlets (NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, NYT, NYP WP, WE, Milwaukee Journal, local Georgia and Wisconsin stations, and a few Catholic newspapers) I also get to see the feeds of others.
My pro-Trump family/friends all went off on the Bill Clinton affair angles, and one had 9 entries on drug testing Hillary (cause she has to be on Oxcy to be functioning when she is not resting). Not one talked about Wikileaks. NOT ONE. They talked about rigged elections, they had copies of Donald’s tweets on them, they talked about how Hillary had conspired to kill people in the GOP head quarters fire in NC -just like she killed all the Whitewater folks, how bad Baldwin was on SNL, my 78 old cousin wanted to know what Lemonade was and why Melionia and those nice Trump girls were in a video about -but no Wikileaks. Some of my dem friends/fam were discussing it, and the “pinko commie” that married my cousin was on a “Vote for Stein” kick for 3 days over it (he really is a communist, although he is more a mellow tan then pink).
If Trump only talks about Trump, then his followers will only talk about what he talks about.
Bart, you and Randy are just afraid that Trump will call you names.
There can be no question there is some Vegas connection that ruined the Falcons game yesterday and anyone who thinks otherwise isn’t a true Atlanta fan. 🙂
I can’t disprove your Trump theory, but if media bias is to blame then you have to look back at the primary season and the role they played there. They pumped up The Donald like no other candidate in history. Now, (we are still in conspiracy land here) why would the media do that? I think they spotted the weakest link and did all they could to make sure he was the nominee. Sorry to bust your bubble Bart, but this means that you have been conned.
When Trump loses, it will be because the media did their job. When an entire network is the voice of a political party and the GOP doesn’t complain, but whines the other networks aren’t playing fair…well, disingenuous comes to mind.
Turd polishing is your job. Not the media’s.
Just when you thought things couldn’t get any more screwed up, well, you were wrong! Thanks, Libs!
