Well. It’s November 1st and I’ve only eaten one three of my daughter’s Reese’s cups. Winning! Here’s how Halloween went down at The White House.

The first woman to run for President was a former prostitute who talked to the dead and advocated free love.
I love McMansion Hell. One of my favorite sites. The number built in the Atlanta metro area between 85-05 is mind boggling. God love them.
I believe this ’bout sez it all…

Pat Buchanan is talking about someone else’s Watergate as a bad thing? I thought he was still making excuses for the original….
Regarding NFL’s drop in popularity / ratings, love this line from the story – “The constant advertisements and hail of yellow flags from overly officious officials make a PBS series seem fast-moving, with a clearer story line.”
Penalites, celebrating on every single play as if one just scored the winning SB TD, Kaepernick and the ever present commercial breaks all factor into it. The NFL over regulated itself into becoming just one step above NASCAR as a watchable product.
Also – and I am no pearl-clutcher – most of the commercials are not suitable for a general audience.
For me, the NFL and College are just too damn long. You try and watch a game, and it takes 4+ hours and swallows your whole afternoon or you’re staying up past midnight to catch the 4th quarter. One reason I’ve ended up watching more soccer and college hoops the last few years–two hours and you’re done.
Interesting story…
