When did Obama announce his first cabinet post selection? How soon after he was elected?
The November 24th or 25th I heard mentioned this morning.
It’s not the cabinet head selections that’s the issue from what my contact in the GSA tells me. They have not had the transition team connections as quickly as needed in key departments. That has traditionally been in less then 48 hours. A lot of that has to do with switching transition heads from Christi to Pence and getting the paper work/legal clearances in place. They just made contact with Defense and NSA yesterday, possibly Homeland. I’m hearing State and Treasury will be today.
So far my favorite head of state story is how the PM of Australia got Trumps private cell number from Greg Norman when Australia could not get through the campaign, transition or Trump Group office numbers, since State did not have contact info yet.
See my reply to you under the other thread regarding the 24th. Greg Norman is Australian Royalty, so that’s OK! I also heard that Nikki Hailey is under consideration for Secstate. I find that odd. Didn’t she really bust Trump’s butt early on? Yall are gonna think I’m more nuts than normal, but I wouldn’t mind if he offered Secstate to Jeb!…Talk about a fence mender.
I’m going with something domestic for Hailey. She handles crisis and planning well. Homeland, which covers FEMA, Coast Guard and ect. would be a better fit.
FWIW:There have been eight executions in Georgia this year. Six of the offenders have been white men. Two of the offenders have been black men.
Both sides can laugh at this: CSPAN is watching/streaming live the bank of elevators at Trump Towers! Jeezzz!
Japan head of State is excepted. Maybe the NSA announcement. They have also been doing their daily press brief at the entrance doors from the Lobby every afternoon after the White House daily brief at 1:00. CSPAN always streams the presidential press pools if something is expected and nothing is in session on the hill. I except them to stream the German Press conference today.
Besides the live shot being the elevators instead of some WH entry or the press room, this is not out of the ordinary.
If you say it, I ‘bleve it!
God created internet pages for just this type of reaction…

Note what press pools cover what and which ones are live. All three are live at the moment with different coverage. I believe they have the press conference in German, The senate daily business and the house coverage on Clapper as I type this.
Plus live online streams of pool coverage of Trump tower and House consideration of H.R. 5982.
Good news, no nets will be added to baseball parks as a means to protect fans from foul balls while they play on their phones – https://www.yahoo.com/news/u-lawsuit-over-lack-baseball-netting-fans-dismissed-165616455–mlb.html?ref=gs
If you go to a ballgame and spend most of your time there on FB, Twitter, etc., then you should have probably stayed home. Put the devices down for a minute folks, the world will still be here when you get back online.
Oh look… The Georgia film classes at Savannah Tech are actually working. Who would have thought it? (sarc)
