Wow! That was fast…Does that count for Helping Make America Great again? LOL! I’ll bet those Ford workers would say “yes!!”
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-11-18/trump-says-ford-called-to-say-keeping-lincoln-plant-in-kentucky
Complete and utter BS. The plant was never leaving and trump had nothing to do with it. You want to thank someone, thank the unions. ” In fact, Ford has regularly reiterated that it has no plans to close any of its U.S. manufacturing locations, something that would likely be impossible under the terms of its current contract with the United Auto Workers.” http://www.politico.com/story/2016/11/trump-ford-plant-tweet-231597
Sure, Hack. LOL! Whatever makes you sleep better at night!
It was listed in a set of share holders reports earlier this year they were not moving the Lincoln plants, but whatever makes you sleep better at night…
He can’t be bothered to even read what his own link.
Man, what’s it like to have Georgiapol be one’s most lib-rul news source?
Sessions looks to be an ok attorney general pick though I question some of his positions on drug issues. Pompeo would be a good CIA director.
Now the question is why is Mitt Romney going to meet with Trump? Is he begging for a job or trying to unify the party? If he is job hunting he will lose the respect of his supporters.
Mitt was invited to come speak with Trump. Not the other way around. He isn’t begging for a job. Even though I think he would be a great choice for Sec. of State I just don’t see it happening. I bet it’s more of a “bury the hatchet” meeting vs. a job interview.
Ok. I don’t have evidence either way of the purpose or the origin of this meeting. Looks like he also met with Cruz but we don’t know the purpose of that meeting either.
To bury the hatchet and move on.
I’m hoping the Cruz meeting included a tailor who was measuring for a Supreme Court robe. If the Libs though Scalia was a hard-assed originalist, they ain’t seen nuthin’ yet!
I can not stand Cruz as a senator. I’ve made that pretty clear on this site. As a member of Congress you have to govern while still holding to your principals. It can be very difficult and that doesn’t mean voting no all the time and throwing your fellow republicans under the bus.
Buuutttt, a supreme court justice doesn’t have to govern and only has to opine and be an ideologue. That is the definition of Ted Cruz. I can promise you he would be confirmed by the senate in a heart beat to get rid of him. Nothing would make me happier than to see Ted Cruz out of the senate and on the supreme court.
I was a bigly fan of Antonin Scalia, but I also know that I would have hated him in the senate.
Roberts can not stand Cruz. If I was Roberts and you made me work with Cruz I might hold the senate responsible for any future misery Cruz might case and vote against everything the Senate passes that goes before me in the future.
I don’t really care what Roberts thinks. After the Obamacare ruling, he deserves Ted Cruz.
Eiger, Heard an interesting rumor on MJ today. Romney’s reputation is as a fixer, turnaround artist. How about putting him in charge of the totally f’d up VA? Made sense to me.
Either way, it’s good to see Trump fulfilling his promise to try and unite the party while assembling a highly qualified team around him. It would be easy to dismiss Romney and Cruz after their behavior during the election, I’m not a fan of either. But both have talent that might be useful so Trump puts aside past differences to assemble a quality team. We are definitely in a new political world.
I don’t think Romney is in line for a cabinet position. Obviously, I have been wrong on a lot of things this election cycle so who knows. I’d be happy with Romney in any position within the Trump administration.
depends if Sessions remains ok with the KKK, on any level. if his thinking and feeling hasn’t fundamentally evolved, nay, turned entirely around, he will be considered a threat to democracy and civil rights for a large percentage of Americans, incl. myself. any action or omission of the OCR will be scrutinized for adherence to the Constitution. of course, historically, many states incl. AL just selectively left out adherence to the 14th amendment as part of their calls to uphold the Constitution.
obv, the choices about Constitutional adherence is made by specific ppl, not the State.
Sessions on marijuana from a Senate hearing:
“I can’t tell you how concerning it is for me, emotionally and personally, to see the possibility that we will reverse the progress that we’ve made…. It was the prevention movement that really was so positive, and it led to this decline. The creating of knowledge that this drug is dangerous, it cannot be played with, it is not funny, it’s not something to laugh about, and trying to send that message with clarity, that good people don’t smoke marijuana.”
Steve Bannon.
Jeff Sessions.
Bookends with the KKK/neo-Nazi/alt-right in the middle.
I did stumble on his full name the other day and laughed out loud. I have to point out that he is the third. Meaning his great great grandpappy probably served with the real Beauregard.
I’m not going to knock the guy for naming his son after a civil war general. I may have done the same thing.
Now Andrew, if you hold Beauregard against Sessions (it was his parents idea not his) then are you going to hold President Obama’s middle name against him and draw conclusions based on his middle name too?
Let just stick to the facts. They are much more interesting anyway.
New rules!
Still sounds like a character in a Bugs Bunny cartoon.
Wellllllll…Dem losers lashing out. Bless their pathetic little hearts! Let’s see…Hamilton libs lecture Pence! LMAO! And the best so far, wait for it…a designer, in a fit of pique, refuses to “dress” Melania!!
http://nymag.com/thecut/2016/11/heres-the-first-designer-to-say-she-wont-dress-melania.html
Hate to spoil the fun, but Melania will look good in a burlap bag! LOL! What will these poor little people think of next!? More, please!
You just described the Lib’s sainted Snowflakes! Finally Andrew is coming around! Perfectly describes those Emory ninnies earlier this year!
It’s a high fly comment…poor clueless Noway.
Romney just came out of Trump meeting. To me he looked like a whipped dog! Based on their expressions he ain’t getting squat!!! Of course, now watch him get offered State.
What, and have his reputation tarnished as was Colin Powell’s?
Romney will do well to stay away from the Trumpster fire.
Libs really oughtta think before speaking! Major league backlash forming against Hamilton. Broadway’s version of the Dixie Chicks? Lol!
Yeah sold out one year in advance. Opened second troupe in Chicago. National tour in the works. Please for the love of gawd boycott so I have a chance of buying tix in this lifetime.
All this hoopla is to deflect attention from Trump’s guilty plea and fine for running a fraudulent enterprise. Lock him up!
Interesting that you’re upset about a couple of hotel rooms. Ehere was this righteous indignation when Hilly was selling her office for millions?? Gonna be a real long four years for you folks! Lol! Does prison orange go with Hilly’s blonde hair? Oh don’t forget Bill snd Chelse, too. They’re all gonna be convicted!
You and I have fought about this ad nauseam. She’s a crook and everyone knows it. AG Sessions will either prosecute her himself or let a special prosecutor do it. The Foundation is also gonna get nailed hard. The Foundation Board members may face criminal jeopardy for misuse of funds. Both Bill and Chel, as members of that board, will be at risk. And I am not even aware of the web page you cited. I’ll just go to Drudge! LOL! Regarding an Obama pardon, is it just me or are you also hearing the faint, ghostly voice of Gerald Ford saying, “Our long national nightmare is over…”
Ahhhh yes!!! World leaders renting out Trump hotel rooms! Those bastards!! You think Donald gave them free Nekkid Channels?!
