Happy Birthday To Jon Richards, Editor In Chief

Today is Jon Richards birthday.  He’s the guy that keeps things running around here these days.  He gets the pleasure of taking random barking orders from me when I’m around and otherwise herding the 20 or so cats that are our various contributors when I’m around and/or when I’m not.

He does this for the satisfaction of doing a good job and bringing you the week’s news in Georgia politics.  It’s often a thankless task.

While this was made official a while back I’m not sure we ever did a post on it.  Jon is our Editor in Chief.  He’s got the title I had at the old place.  I’m in the “publisher” role, which means I pay the few bills we have and try to keep the lights on.  Jon takes responsibility for most everything else.

So today, in between cheering on the Falcons and arguing over who said what on the Sunday shows, take a minute and wish him a Happy Birthday, and thank him for putting up with me or you, whichever you think he needs to hear more.
