Sonny Perdue Meeting With President-Elect Trump Today
Former Governor Sonny Perdue flew up to New York City for a tete-a-tete with President-Elect Trump. Perdue’s name has been thrown around for Secretary of Agriculture.
However, Perdue only said he was asked to meet with Trump “and that’s what I’m going to do.”
Per Greg Bluestein of the AJC, Perdue arrived at Trump Tower this afternoon ushered by his former top Aide and now Trump Transition Team member Nick Ayers.
