Let’s hope the Waffle House lady has a new job by 5:00 pm today! She did what was right. Trying to protect herself and the interests of her employer. She’ll become a guns-right darling and I hope she makes a million bucks! Shame on Waffle House. Waffle House a gun-free zone? Really?! Tell that to the thousands of hunters who eat there before heading into the woods. He’ll I’ve seen more armed good-ole boys in there than cops. Big mistake! Huge!
I need to ask permission from Charlie or Jon for this. The Waffle House lady in Will’s story has a Go fund me page. I just emailed the Newnan reporter about this and he sent me a link to her page.
is it something I can attach here is is that not kosher?
The funding goal for her was set at $2500 but already has $5800 in pledges! Let me know!
I’m not aware of/don’t recall any instances in the past where we’ve blocked/deleted a link to a GoFundMe page in the comments. As always, this would imply no endorsement by GaPol, nor can we take any responsibility that any funds donated actually go to the purpose claimed in any solicitation.
Thanks, Charlie and Happy New Year! I’ll let folks find it themselves if interested.
You’re welcome. Happy New Year to you.
Yes by all means let’s celebrate an act that is on the face of it is at best an irresponsible discharge of a firearm.
Thanks for my answer, Will. Act at its best??!! Really? At it’s best- irresponsible?? On this particular issue, we disagree totally. She should have taken aim and wasted all three of them right there in the parking lot. DRT. Dead Right There. I’ll post the fund me page elsewhere!
Where did her employer ask her to protect their “interests”? It looks like Waffle House had adopted a policy of asking people to not to bring firearms into their establishments, which is a right they have as a private business. They have to weigh the liability of having their employees pull double duty as armed security. I know what choice I’d make.
So you have seen thousands of hunters with their long-guns inside eating? BS. Private businesses not wanting armed customers inside isn’t a gun rights issue. I use to hunt growing up and never once did I remember my dad, uncle or anybody else bringing guns inside when we went to eat.
You are so knee-jerk reactionary it just becomes laughable.
Where did I say long guns? Didn’t. More people support what she did than Snowflakes like you, Doc. Deal with it.
If Unterman and Coleman aren’t careful they might find out that directing more state money at specific problems would help schools that are performing poorly.
My Waffle House waitress believes walking out without tipping is grounds for justifiable homicide. A 25% moment.
Family get togethers should be to laugh and tease the differences. A favorite territory in mine is politics, where politicians strive for attention by replacing the equality of individuals with devisive sociodemographics.
Dumped losers: for Hillary it was a late term abortion just before her due date.
Surely you can be more offensive with a little more effort.
She wasn’t in danger. If she had aimed, she would have shot them in the back-pretty cowardly.
And most important, all you John Wayne wannabees, bullets fired up in the air come down and hit people not involved in your little drama.
762 homicides in Chicago in 2016. Two murders in metro Atlanta so far in 2017.
I cannot imagine Vincent Fort as Mayor of Atlanta. What doesn’t he piss and moan about?
