From a press release received moments ago: “Republican candidate Roy Daniels, M.D. – a prominent physician from Cobb County – has officially entered the race for the Georgia State Senate in District 32 to replace Senator Judson Hill.”
Described as a “fierce” critic of the Affordable Care Act, Dr. Daniels serves on the Cobb County Board of Health and Cobb County Community Services Board. He’s also President-Elect of the Cobb County Medical Society and a member of the Conservative Policy Leadership Institute class of 2017 led by Senator Hunter Hill.
A graduate of the University of Virginia, Daniels earned a medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, did his residency at the Medical College of Virginia and trained in neuroradiology at Duke University Medical Center. Daniels and his family live in the eastern portion of Cobb county and are active in the Johnson Ferry Baptist Church.
