Betsy Devos could greatly improve the Department of Education if she cut spending and personnel. Dept of Education is a useless department that should have been eliminated years ago.
Good move by state senate to pass SB 85 which allows craft breweries to sell more brew. It’s now up to the house to pass it.

Notice how she looks for affirmation from Pelosi as she stumbles through the policy portion of her speech.

Trump is keeping his foreign affairs promises to Make America Great Again—threatening military intervention in Mexico, hanging up on the Australian Prime Minister, getting played by Putin concerning Ukraine, and signing an Executive Order adding Steve Bannon to the NSC without even knowing his Order did that.
Trump has shown he’s a quick study too with his display of knowledge of Frederick Douglas on the very first day of black history month, after not mentioning Jews on Holocaust Remembrance Day only a few days before. The latter was understandable though, what with all the time and effort he had spent on the vetting and thoughtful and smooth roll out of his immigration Executive Order.
It’s a testament that the GOP knows how to govern and ought to control all three government branches with the approval of the so-called judge Trump nominated to the Supreme Court.
While your reading about the Savannah’s screwy zoning issues and how city council is making the rules up as it goes along, let me offer another article (same paper, same day) of how the alderman just ignore issues with their own property…

Now everybody time I see Sean Spicer, I see him as Melissa McCarthy in drag. She nailed it… apparently to the chagrin of POTUS. Accordingly, there’s now a movement to have Rosie O’Donnell play Bannon. Since Chris Farley and Philip Seymour Hoffman are no longer of this world, that seems like a reasonable casting choice.

I’m still in denial, and I’m going to try to hold on to it long enough to be able to skip right to acceptance. (I am talking about the Falcons, not DeVos! I have already reached acceptance of the new regime. That doesn’t mean I won’t still resist in some ways, but y’all are going to do your thing no matter what I say so go for it and let’s see what happens (shudder).)
