Isakson Testifies In Favor of Price for HHS Secretary

Georgia Senator Johnny Isakson went to the Senate floor to speak in favor of Rep. Tom Price’a bid to become Secretary of Health and Human Services. You can see his testimony below:

In his testimony, Isakson said,

Tom knows everything about medicine because he’s delivered it for 30 years,” said Isakson. “He knows about the affordability of health care. He knows about the needs of senior citizens. He knows about the innovations that are necessary to help all of us stay healthy for the rest of our lives.” “America and all of her citizens will be better off because the doctor will be in the house.”

The Senate is expected to cast a final vote later tonight or on Friday.
