Morning Reads Made Greater than the Past
“This Time They Told The Truth” by ZZ Hill.
- Georgians who crashed kids party and made racial epithets and death threats claim they would “never say” the words they said; sentenced to prison. My sympathy hovers around zero percent.
- Buckhead masterplan to allow more input on big ideas.
- Columbia Journalism Review: “It does not feel like transparency.” Atlanta dumps 1.47 million pages of public documents.
- Candidate Trump: Leave pot to the States.
- President Trump: Let’s go after pot even harder.
- Candidate Trump: Repealing ACA “so easy”.
- President Trump: “Nobody knew healthcare could be so complicated.”
- Sean Spicer: Just spoke with SECNAV nominee he won’t withdraw nomination.
- SECNAV Nominee: I’m withdrawing.
- Why, it’s almost as if the clowns are completely making stuff up! Almost.

I haven’t heard a ZZ Hill track in years. Thanks.
I don’t think Trump cares one way or another about marijuana. The new attitude is from Sessions who has said “Good people don’t smoke marijuana”.
Thanks for that clarification. I kept hearing yesterday about “Joint Sessions” and I thought Jeff had changed his tune.
Trump hasn’t shown any actual interest in policy or governance at any point. You can’t continually implement policies that are diametrically opposed to what you campaigned on or hold contradictory opinions on policies like he does and claim to have a clue.
When he held his press conference on his finances he said “I had no idea” about conflict of interest laws suggesting he hadn’t thought about what would happen if he won.
Now, with all that said, last night seemed to be a conciliatory Trump and let’s see if he makes good on being a bit more presidential. He holds policies that I disagree with–fine. But don’t be a belligerent, antagonistic asshole who seems uninterested in working if you are President.
There’s teleprompter Trump. And the real Trump.
Real Trump will not ever be presidential. It’s not in him.
Is it true that Bradford pear trees are worse than kudzu?
Yes. Saw a report of the thickets they make in fields that resist even bush hoggers.
Donald makes me think of a guy who wins a dream date with a Hollywood star. He talked a great game to get the date, but now that they’re sitting together in a restaurant, he’s clueless.
It wasn’t the having, it was the *getting*.
Ponce City Market (formerly the Sears building and City Hall East) has attracted the attention of USA Today.

No they are attacking him for lying about his resume. Just wait, there will be more. He has 5 years experience as a national security staffer??? Working for Hank Johnson as an intern doesn’t count.
