AKA: He’s pulling two percentage points more than what Democrats usually get in the district.
His delta from the general to the runoff will be 0.
Whereas, many of those “undecided” in the head to heads are people that are “firmly” committed to one GOP candidate and thus don’t want to be for another GOP candidate. Until there is only one GOP candidate. And then they will be very much for that candidate.
The April-June contest will be a nationalized race, and it will be all about R or D.
The problem is that those undecided voters who support another candidate might stay home. I find it interesting that the only one that beats Ossoff in this poll is Hill yet he is pretty far down in R vs R.

A straight up win 18 April may be Ossoff’s best chance.
That depends on how aggressively the republicans go after each other. From all the data I have seen the negative money thrown at Ossoff has done nothing but help him. Attack ads can be tricky. They can pay off big or destroy a campaign.
Also want to add that none of the pollsters thus far have stellar records as both are rated C- at 538

No Dem POTUS candidate has gotten above 40% in that district before HRC last fall. No Dem congressional candidate did better than 35% vs. Price, and they did even worse vs. Isakson. Fact that Dem’s getting up to the mid 40s in hypos is a shift and should make GOP candidates in similar districts (where Trump underperformed GOP Housemembers) nervous: He’s bringing them down to his level. R vs D is Trump vs. not Trump with Trumpcare unpopular and going down today. The last thing you should want is a nationalized race; GAGOP is probably a much better brand than Ryan, Trump and co.
Prediction:
Because “Obamacare” is still the law of the land, and all the King’s Horses and All the King’s Men, could not repeal and replace something they have opposed for 7 years; because GOP voters put them critters in office specifically to kill the ACA, they will stay home.
Young progressive Dems will be just as motivated by Trump and his swamp, as teabaggers were motivated by Obama, and show up in droves to vote and run for office.
This election portents elections all over the nation in 2018. What else is Congress going to do, now that the POTUS has shown a willingness to throw Speaker “RyanCare” under the political bus.
Trump has pulled the most dangerous right wing ideologues out of power positions and into figurehead cabinet roles. The bureaucrats know how do deal with inept political appointee leadership.
Now he has castrated the Speaker of the House, and put Congress into a session of angsty self reflection. Most of them just want to go home and only be bossed around and hopefully flogged by the spouse, and not by some corporate shadow figure’s marching orders.
He is also cutting some fluff regulations, leaving well qualified bankers to run the banks (for now, you don’t bite the hand that feeds you), and marks “I tried!” off Obamacare. Which is still, of course, the law of the land.
