“Scattered, smothered and Surlyn™-covered”?
Any updates/news from the GOP district conventions?
This image is the opposite of “drain the swamp”.

Thanks for the solar farm story. Here in Oconee we turned down a chance at a similar setup late last year, but I’m sure its boosters will be back. Besides the usual nimby complaints some people were concerned about radiation and the cost of decommissioning, which led me to think the pro-solar faction has some educating to do. One guy said he didn’t want a horizontal skyscraper in the county; I don’t know if anything can be done with him.
Here’s Green Power EMC’s press release: http://www.greenpoweremc.com/content/green-power-emc-and-silicon-ranch-announce-dedication-52mw-solar-farm
Here’s a link to a transcript of Trump’s interview Friday by the AP. You’ve read about it, you’ve heard about it, now read about it.

Ossoff appears briefly at the Democrat fundraiser in Atl but leaves before the speech by Maxine Waters. Burnie now says he supports Ossoff. I doubt this endorsement helps
Ossoff.
Ossoff probably already had like 99% of Bernie voters, but it must be based on logic deriving from those early polls where Bernie was beating Trump head to head, before he lost the nomination. I doubt that economic justice issues swings many voters, but perhaps Bernie’s old school- I am going to call them communitarian- values appeal to those with a strong sense of social and economic justice. Maybe 5% of them;?
Everyone on this site is putting way too much into endorsements. They rarely ever help or hurt. An endorsement only really hurts or helps the person giving the endorsement. Bernie may help continue the excitement for Ossoff with base democrats, but he doesn’t bring new voters. Just like Paul Ryan campaigning for Handel doesn’t bring new voters. That is more of a rallying around our nominee thing.
Ossoff won’t let Bernie come to the district though. That would be a mistake.
Yeah, endorsements can offer a higher probablity of bad than good.
It’s almost antithetical to any outsider image, which is the thing nowadays.
Another fickle week for Trump last week. He tweeted “no administration has accomplished more in the first 90 days” on Wednesday, then on Friday told reporters inquiring about 100 days that “Next week doesn’t matter” and the 100 days standard was “ridiculous.”
Priebus on Meet the Press show demonstrated that even after nearly 100 days he’s out of his depth, but a dunk tank is what you’d expect from a clown administration.
NBC’s Chuck Todd suggested to Priebus that perhaps the identities of those purchasing Mar a Lago club membership since Trump was elected President should be public information. Priebus defended keeping the identifies secret, stating Trump “talks to a lot of people but it doesn’t change his views”. What a hoot, given Trump’s statement about a conversation with Chinese leader Xi at Mar a Lago “After listening for 10 minutes, I realized it’s not so easy. I felt pretty strongly that [China] had a tremendous power over North Korea. But it’s not what you would think.”
Doublespeak that is Making America Great Again. Rubes love it!
Thanks for the daily anti-president rant Harry, err.. I mean Dave.
I thought the Norway dude was Harry…(you know you’ve been around a while when you know who Harry is)
Harry rants were Anti-Obama rants. Also Harry was WAY out there. He was fake newsy before fake news was a thing.
Harry had Obama-derangement syndrome just like Dave has Trump-derangement syndrome.
Harry didn’t rant, he just read a lot of bad websites. And shared. Dave Bearse is no Harry.
I’d rather rant about derangement than defend derangement any time. People can look at me funny if they want to. At least I won’t be complicit. Being contemptuous doesn’t make me deranged.
Trump from the AP interview: “The drugs pouring through on the southern border are unbelievable.”
“You know, back when they did NATO there was no such thing as terrorism.”
“It’s the highest for “Face the Nation” or as I call it, “Deface the Nation.””
He’s the president and I’m not so I guess I’m the real idiot but damn, those quotes (and there are plenty more) sure show a world-view that’s built for the golf course or talk radio not top-level administration and governance, and I’m not going to pretend otherwise.
This week we may get to watch another effort at ACA change, if Trump’s stab at getting the donks to pay for his wall doesn’t shut government doors completely. The debt ceiling looms and there’s a tax reform policy roll-out as well.
It’s only April and I’m tired of the constant barrage of propaganda and attitude, of pretending the man on top is capable or willing to change, of people telling me things are all right.
