NRCC Ad: Out-Of-Touch Ossoff – #GA6
The National Republican Congressional Committee has released a new ad entitled “Out-Of-Touch Ossoff: Jon and Nancy.” The ad ties GA-6 Democratic Candidate Jon Ossoff to his “numerous connections to Nancy Pelosi and national Democrats, and for accepting millions of dollars from them for his campaign.”
NRCC Communications Director Matt Gorman:
“Despite calculated moves to the middle in a Republican District, Jon Ossoff’s core values remain the same. Make no mistake: Ossoff is already beholden to Pelosi and would support her liberal agenda in Congress. The NRCC will continue to remind voters through Election Day that although he is playing political games in order to get elected, Jon Ossoff does not and will not represent the values of the 6th District voters.”

Hey, where’s the NRCC based? And where’s their funding come from? It’s out of the district, right? It’s a really good thing the Handel team didn’t make “out of the district funding” one of their big talking points these past few months, otherwise this kind of thing could be pretty awkward.
Tom Price donated $399,000 to them in the 2016 cycle (Source).
The same Tom Price who thinks it’s totally cool to arrest a reporter to ask a question while you’re walking? Ok.
He didn’t arrest anybody. (Source)
Never said he did. He just thinks it’s ok when it happens, because he loves freedom of the press.
…and how much of that did Tom Price raise in the district? OpenSecrets has him raising more than 2/3 of his money last year from places other than GA-06: https://www.opensecrets.org/politicians/geog.php?cycle=2016&cid=N00026160&type=I
But 73% from Georgia.
Of course, Sec. Price’s contribution was 0.38% of the NRCC’s total fundraising. So pretty sure he wasn’t covering the entire cost of this campaign all by his lonesome Georgia dollars.
He asked the question and I answered it. It’s all silly in my opinion. As we have just both shown, things can be spun however a person wants to.
I have two words for Karen Handel. Special prosecutor. I recommend she learn how to say those words in public, sometime in the next couple of weeks. Because if she can’t say “A special prosecutor should be appointed to investigate the Trump Administration,” she’s going to lose and all the attack advertising in the world wouldn’t change one bit of that.
If her campaign is polling on Pelosi like that’s somehow relevant, then they need to move back to Georgia and out of Washington where people apparently think the minority leader matters.
What specific crime would the SP be investigating? And what real evidence is there that a crime has been committed? You sound like Tom Foley and a “seriousness of the charges” toadie. Or would it be like all of the other “Russia investigations”, just an expensive fishing trip? Suggestion: Get a cane pole and can of worms and head down to your neighborhood pond.
Russia? Russia? Did someone say Russia? Why on earth would someone running for president of the US want to communicate with the world’s other super power in preparation for taking the reigns at the White House? Maybe develop a little rapport with another world leader? Nah, that would be too sensible.
I’m sure Saint Obama never communicated with any foreign countries or diplomats before he became President. Yeah, right.
I have a hunch as to why Tillerson wants to be friends with them.
#Well,whataboutOBAMA?
Really….fallacies? Please….
I’ll be gone soon enough. But I have to tell you, your desperate, irrational and incoherent ravings about getting Trump at all costs are truly entertaining! Any hope for a scintilla of fairness from your side is long gone. The prime example being the Brazile/CNN syndicate giving interview questions to the Future Felon before the prez debate. The so-called Russia investigation into Trump has been going on since July and basically, you got got nuthin’! “But what about Flynn,” you sputter with wild-eyed derangement??!?!!? So what? He didn’t tell the WH about a paid speech he did as a private citizen? Egads!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you say, “intent,” counselor? Flynn didn’t “intendddddddddddddddddddddddddd” to leave that out of his paperwork. It worked for the Future Felon, It’ll work for Flynn. Keep flailing, Drew, keep flailing!
You type like those people on reddit on /r/The_Donald. Very childlike, in a schoolyard bully kinda way.
Which we all know are bots, rooskie shills and angsty 4chan teens.
But I know you are not a bot….at least…I think so…
Time to seek the protection of your “safe space”, Rick!
Where was all the liberal fascist outrage when – prior to going into office – Saint Obama went on a world tour, and spoke badly of America to those other countries? Kenya and Egypt were especially receptive.
The libtards thought that was fine. Just like they thought Clinton’s reckless mishandling of classified information while Secty of State was fine. Hypocrisy and hysteria runs rampant now because of some conversation they *think* *might* have happened by *somebody* related to the Trump campaign last year.
Flying unicorns and tinfoil hats are back in style.
“WellWhatAbout” AGAIN???
So low brow…

LMAO! From you! That’s rich. Your tinfoil hat looks charming, I’m sure.
Clinton’s private server was not fine with me.
Flying unicorns and tinfoil hats have been GOP style for two decades.
It’s an independent fishing likely net more than the $40M spent by a partisan GOP fishing for Hillary Clinton.
All the GOP landed was a whopper Trump carp that has the stench of debasement of the country about it.
Do they say anywhere what “the values” of 6th district voters are?
Well, Benevolus, they probably are not “socially conservative” values. If you overlay the lines of the current 6th CD with the 1992 state lottery vote, you’d most likely find the district backed the lottery (even when most of then-rural Democratic Georgia voted against it). Four years later, the district (again, under current lines) gave Isakson about 60% of the vote against Guy Millner in that year’s GOP Senate runoff—and Isakson in those days was pro-choice on abortion (he ran lots of ads on it that summer). The district’s GOP voters backed Romney over Gingrich in 2012 and Rubio over Trump in the 2016 presidential primary; in between those two contests, the district (in various county referenda) gave 77% approval to Sunday retail alcohol sales. District voters doubtless are more in tune with economic issues, and there Ossoff may have to explain, in Georgia’s wealthiest congressional district, whether the rich already pay their “fair share” of taxes (as far-left Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren like to bring up). It will be interesting to see if he takes any stances that are at odds with Pelosi, Sanders and Warren, though I’m not sure being minority leader that Pelosi has enough of a profile to where district voters would base their vote on impressions of her.
I don’t work for the Handel campaign and I hold no positions in the Republican Party. I am the media conduit for GAPOL on the GOP side and Stefan is the Democratic.
Psssst….you forgot the part about “dirty water and dirty air and Grandma eating Alpo.” You’re welcome.
The attacks on Pelosi and Warren undermine the GOP promoting Handel as woman candidate.
It will be interesting as to the role NRCC support focused on denigrating Ossoff and Dem leaders early in the Trump Presidency will be interesting, since Handel is well-known.
