I think the line between free speech and threats of violence may be blurred in some circumstances for sure, but my sense is that the characters who get killed should not have the face/visage of the President or other public figure. Allusions and implications seem fine, and artistically or theoretically applying history to the present seems healthy.

My one correction to this article is the location. Erin Hills is in Erin, west of Holy Hill (you can see it in some of the pics), and is technically a Hartford location. Delafield is much further to the south of the course and in a different county. It is 1 of 4 courses used by the PGA and LPGA in the state. I’m more of a Whistling Straits girl myself.

President Trump held his first full cabinet meeting today with the initial portion of ring kissing held for the media’s benefit. Apparently Reince Priebus is intent on promoting the exalted one even higher than leader of the free world:
“On behalf of the entire senior staff around you, Mr. President, we thank you for the opportunity and the blessing that you’ve given us to serve your agenda and the American people. And we’re continuing to work very hard every day to accomplish those goals.”
Well at least he threw the “and the American people” in there at the end.
At this point it looks like a battle between fascism and feudalism.
Or maybe they are both the same thing.
I’ve been bouncing back and forth between LAX and ATL. I just got back so you get NOOOOOO sympathy from me (I’m even going to get elite status from Delta next trip even as they have rigged it to be harder every year it seems)
