Economists at George Mason U rank the states by fiscal health. Georgia comes in at #22, between Oregon and Texas, based on their fiscal solvency in five separate categories – – cash on hand, budgeting, long-term commitments, capability to expand, and unfunded pension and healthcare liabilities.

Florida comes in first, New Jersey last.

I watched for the first time in a while too. The Five (or 4 v. Juan as it should be called) seriously felt like it was being produced by RT. Dana Perino looks so uncomfortable; anytime her conscience looks to be yelling at her she realizes shes getting a big paycheck and then goes back to being numb. I’d love to see the commercial breaks. The 4 must be so winded after trying to blow out the flames of the Hindenburg.
As opposed to watching the panel of CNN Mensa Members like Marc Lamont Hill talking about “Mediocre Negroes”, I suppose?
Property taxes: a really bad taxpayer blame game going on today is the commissioner’s (millage determiners) attention diversion to the assessors (value determiners).
When they ease up on the assessor smoke, wait for the commish cry “we didn’t raise your taxes”.
Yes you did! Glad he’s out! Ok, let’s work on Djoker choking!
Ok. Murray – out; Djoker – quit; Cilic – still alive. Fed to play Berdych. Hmmmmm….I’m a little concerned there. But I think it’s Fed over Querry for number 19! Your thoughts Drew?
RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA! Just popping in to say Hi, and to get y’all back onto this ongoing distraction, lefty obfuscation/smoke screen. Ignore the booming Trump economy (another historic high today), Americans suffering under the limited choices and high costs brought on by Obamacare which is now down to 141 issuers as compared to 281 just 2 years ago, the liberation of Mosul and reclaiming of Iraq by its Prime Minister, Prez Trump departing for Paris, today for meetings and Bastille Day celebrations with America’s oldest ally, etc. out the wazoo.
Carry on.
I saw your Fredo comment above and decided to throw a fast ball across the plate. You swung, and your responses struck out.
Trump was elected primarily because he is not a politician or part of the DC establishment. He and his family were not adept to the dirty tricks of entrenched operatives. A meeting arranged by a burned-out Australian publicist whose only client of note was John Denver, with the help of Fusion GPS, the Democrats’ oppositional research company. What could go wrong with that?
A Republican candidate’s political-novice family member talking for a few minutes with someone from another country about adoption of children. The audacity of it all! Next thing we know, Don Jr. will be drinking red wine with fish!
As a true Trumpter this most likely doesn’t interest you Mr. Sally, but…

ACP, how did I know you’d disagree totally? For the record, I am one of the original posters on Peach Pundit who migrated over here when GAPol was created. Hardly a “troll” – but you wouldn’t know that because you are a newcomer who enjoys insulting anyone with whom you disagree. Your rudeness is one of the reasons that I rarely post here any more.
The entrenched operatives to whom I referred are Democrats and their hired-gun muck rakers at Fusion 365. The request for meeting was a bait and switch that turned out to be a conversation about adopting children. The woman was not “an adverse foreign power” by any stretch, just a private attorney who has publicly stated that she has never had any connection to the Russian government. The Aussie mis-spoke, either intentional or not, when he said that in his email. It misled Trump Jr. and crew into trying to do some oppositional research, like every other political campaign does. That nothing conversation was definitely not anything worthy of reporting to the FBI and no comparison at all to Bush’s debate prep materials being given to Gore.
But speaking of debate prep materials, why hasn’t Donna Brazile been prosecuted, or at least persecuted by the media with full throat, for giving Hillary the debate questions prior to the CNN debate? No wonder HRC went into seclusion for two weeks before hand – she was studying the actual debate questions! Where is all the indignation when there is actually some “there” there?
Ellynn, thanks for the link to more leftist anti-Trump propaganda attempts to make something out of nothing. Item 2 could actually have the word Obama inserted instead of Trump and applied to A/G Lynch’s illegal tarmac meeting with Bill Clinton about the FBI investigation into Hillary’s malfeasance while in office as Secty of State. But people who still cannot get over the fact they lost the election don’t want to talk about actual crimes by their team that occurred last summer. It’s much more fun to make up stuff about the current President.
