Alex Kaufman announces nearly $75,000 in contributions

Via a press release from the campaign:

“Friends of Alex Kaufman has filed the required financial disclosure for the period ending on June 30, 2017 and reveals a balance of $64,299.13 on hand. This total includes $74,251 in contributions from individuals and businesses in the community and a personal loan from the candidate. Alex is running for State Representative in district 51 in a seat being vacated by Wendell Willard.

“I am proud to announce that our campaign has brought in nearly $75,000,” said Kaufman, “and I look forward to the fundraising events we have planned for the fall bringing our totals up well over $100,000 by the end of the year.”

Alex Kaufman announced his intention to run for this seat in June of 2016 and has been endorsed by State Senator John Albers, Atlanta attorney Emory Schwall, Johns Creek Councilman Steve Broadbent, Roswell Councilmember Nancy Diamond and Roswell Councilman Mike Palermo. The primary election for this campaign will be in May of 2018 and the General Election will take place on the 2018 November ballot.”
