Charming that we went into a total breakdown demanding an overnight removal of statues that have been attracting pigeons for a 100 years.
No excitement that the AJC reports the DOE needs $500 million more next year, 60% to shore up pensions so their folks can retire by their early ’50’s. The super paid overseers missed return forecasts.
Fortunately my state senator believes we don’t have a spending problem either, we have a casino problem.

The current battle over Confederate monuments has a few things in common with the fight to change the Georgia State flag. In both cases, some questionable historic revisionism was used to support the cause.
