Elizabeth Warren Laying GA Groundwork for Presidential Bid
Elizabeth Warren is in town today as part of the Beloved Community Talks put on by the King Center.
An event that seems benign enough and would fit in to reports that Sen. Warren is considering a Presidential bid in 2020.
While in our great state, GAPol has learned that Warren’s staff has met with Georgia donors and political operatives to gauge interest in working together in the future. There’s little else the Bay State’s senior Senator could want from the Peach State than help with a Presidential campaign.
Until a formal bid announcement the world will wait in eager anticipation…

FWIW, she does like BBQ and went to Fox Bros while she was in town. We’ll know more about her motives if she’s building her grassroots movement in Lockhart, Texas next.
