- The President said yesterday that “we’ll be talking about gun laws as time goes by.” Not sure what that means (are we ever really sure what he means?) but it ought to be an interesting conversation. (It’s certainly a necessary conversation.)
- The CEO of Delta thinks Trump’s tax plan is great.
- Democratic Gubernatorial candidates Stacey Abrams and Stacey Evans had a conversation last night at the Carter Center. (FD: my candidacy for HD 42 is endorsed by Georgia’s WIN List, the event’s sponsor.)
- The Savannah City Council wants to rename the Talmadge Bridge. I respectfully suggest renaming it for Savannah native and Girl Scout founder Juliette Gordon Low.
- Goat yoga is a thing, and it’s got some zoning boards twisted like pretzels. (FD: I regularly practice yoga, but I do that with other middle-aged ladies, not goats.)
- Essential oils are a cure for anxiety more than anything else. (FD: They’re not actually a cure for anxiety, either.)
- For Kangol, it’s hard – and expensive, and slow – to make their hats in America.
- Starbucks shuttered their online store.
- There is merit and value in a liberal arts education.
- Naked pictures here.
- The oldest restaurant in Georgia is in Thomasville.
- My first concert (that wasn’t at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo) was Tom Petty at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Texas. My brother won the tickets in a raffle at the St. Ignatius Loyola fall festival.
