Putting the “Special” In Special Elections Day
Yes, it’s election day for locals and municipals in addition to the many called special elections. But really, isn’t every election special?
I’ve been out most of the day for apologies for just getting this thread going.
Here’s a link to statewide results.
One House race has already been called:
Speaker Ralston has called to congratulate Kasey Carpenter on his victory in HD 4 (Dalton area) — says citizens chose well with their new representative. #gapol

And here’s a link for Atlanta (spanning two counties) where a lot of votes are on the ballot, including Mayor.
Tell us what else you’re watching and who else is winning and losing.
Or, like in Virginia, who is getting thrown under the bus:

Two ‘shocking’ victories just reported for the donks.
In HD 117, Deborah Gonzalez took down Houston Gaines, 53-47, with only a couple Clarke County precincts to be counted. She’ll replace Regina Quick.
In HD 119, my district, Jonathan Wallace bested three gopers 56-44 to win Chuck Williams’ seat.
