I don’t get that “ace of spades” site. It’s not funny, it’s not informative, it’s not entertaining or even visually attractive. It’s like reading last weeks newspaper from some small town you are not familiar with.
I found this interesting:
” A new study published in Nature Human Behavior suggests that those who value economic equity, at their brain’s core, are more likely to be depressed. Those who prefer everything for themselves tend to be happier.”

With my vodka and borscht, I’m on what I call LibWatch 2017. There will undoubtedly be news today of another set of Dems who’ll be accused of sexual crimes. Harassment, battery, drugging (Hello Geraldo…) or maybe even rape (Hello Bubba…). It’s almost 9. Any bets on when that first story hits the web?
9:06…Wow!

LibWatch 2017? So last year.
Well, I didn’t want to get ahead of myself by labeling it LibWatch 2018. Accuracy ‘n all…
And another of the far lib pnkos goes down… (written with sarcastic font).

The defense lawyer did a nice job of trolling Trump by suggesting that someday Trump’s views about presumption of innocence might change.

And just to start my day out right. A homeowner shot burglary-ing maggot in FL! LOL!

It won’t for me, ever.
Remember, this is the guy that took out a full page NYC newspaper advocating the death penalty for African American teenagers that were exonerated.
Chris Joyner’s AJC column today on the Tisdale felony trial for her filming a public campaign event attended by most statewide elected officials is worth reading.
Clinton was right about deplorables. In Dawson County, Republican Trump Country, juror pool members said these type of things: Tisdale is a mouthy troublemaker with no respect for authority and looking for someone to sue. “I told my wife she’s here for a payment.” Another said he was a “strong proponent of property rights” and likely would side with the prosecution. “If I was at a meeting I don’t know if I’d like a camera rolling.”
That last line leads to Joyner’s money quote: “Let that sink in for a moment. An elected official was allegedly intimidated by a camera pointed at him.”
(My ax to grind on Olens has been his KSU appointment—I voted for him for AG. Olens for his part spoke against what was done to Tisdale at the event, and again in court yesterday.)
No snark. Real question. Do you think the guy reasonably could have been found guilty of accidentally killing Kate via the richochet? The prosecutor rightfully didn’t prove the 1st degree charge. Your thoughts?
Lock Him Up, Lock Him Up!
How sweet the irony. He’s taking a plea deal. Donald and his inner circle should be worried, very worried.
Trump’s engaged in a twitter war with UK officials, the UK arguably the US’ best overseas ally, and whose voters approved Brexit that Trump supported. Another instance for establishment Republicans to take note of—you’re under the bus as soon as Trump perceives it serves his ego.
The trial of the alleged perps of a young black man lynched in Griffin in 1983 is underway. A quote of a family member of the victim is applicable about some Trump supporters or those opposed but quiet: “When you understand they’re not sorry for what they’ve done it makes it a lot easier for you to not be sorry for what’s going to happen to them”.
A majority of Trump supporters wish Trump would stop tweeting. The tell is that only a minority of Republicans are publicly and actively saying they oppose Trump as a source of misogyny, coarseness, lying, sociopathy and racism.
It’s a measure of the achievement of the country on racism in since the 1970’s. It’s disreputable to publicly make racists statements (but Trump is working to turn back that), but fine to tolerate racism. Murder keeping black folks in check is no longer performed by mobs. Law enforcement has improved, but there is yet disparate homicide of African Americans by law enforcement. Justice system outcomes have and are improving.
Yet the current state of affairs among conservatives is that it’s respectable to state that white Christians are the victims of state discrimination. In the general the white public thinks that racism isn’t very significant. There’s a long way to go.
A cabinet level coup? I saw this one. President Palmer survived…

OK, as of right now: Flynn says he lied about what he discussed with the Russian ambassador. Now, the huge headline is that Trump directed him to talk to the Russian.
GASPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!! The Prez told his National Security Advisor to speak with a Russian!!!!!!
More importantly: How did the gov’t know the subject matter of that conversation was not what he said it was to the Feebies? Illegal wire-tap, that’s how.
So, Drew and B, clean yourselves up, swab off and decide what you’d like on your Nuthing Burger this afternoon! LOL!
Upon further reflection, I guess you can’t talk to a Russian unless you’re a Dem paying for a fake dossier to try and influence an election.
So are you saying that if Trump had business dealings in Russia that no one should be allowed to look into that? A private citizen asking other private citizens to investigate business transactions, is the same as private citizens trying to establish a secret back-channel to the Russian government and without the consent of the US government.. Those things are equivalent to you?
It’s called the Logan Act.
He wasn’t the Prez, and Flynn wasn’t anybody. They were private citizens and private citizens can’t negotiate with foreign governments, if I understand correctly. Besides, it’s a plea deal, so the real issue is what they didn’t charge him with, and why they think it was worth it to deal.
Y’all will never guess what political party Congressman Kihuen us a member of. Never.Ever.

So what’s the score then?
You know, B, I’m running out of fingers and toes… Tell you what, in the Spirit of the Season, I’ll say that Geraldo was one of Ours, seeing as he works for Fox!! Fair?!
Well what’s the score in the other column?
This is Yuge…
Fake News ABC Brian Ross lied this am…ABC to “clarify ”
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mediaite.com/tv/abc-news-issues-on-air-clarification-to-report-about-flynn-russian-outreach-and-trump/amp/
So absolutely typical! Ross has been a smoldering turd for years!
Hey, remember when Fox News suspended themselves for reporting about Obama’s birth certificate? And then later about the Pizzagate thing? That was how a professional organization acts when they make a mistake.
Wait, what?
Unbelievable in a sense totally differing from the amazing fabulousness that is the Republican party.

Remember when fiscally conservative Republicans accepted responsibility for being completely wrong that the stimulus would soon result in rampant inflation? Neither do I.
I do remember the p—–g and moaning that the stimulus was a budget buster.
The difference between now and then is that then country had just lost 600,000 jobs in a month, the most in 34 years, and was heading toward a 1930’s type downturn. Now growth is less than robust other than with respect to profits and valuations they are higher than ever. Corporations have $2T sitting in the bank. Perfect time to borrow and give it to the owners of capital and to corporations.
And what about the 30 year conservative argument going back to St. Ronnie that increasing deficits are a drag on growth?
It’s pretty simple really. Make up anything when opposed. Then pretend those arguments were never when they would conflict with GOP actions, and making up new arguments untethered from experience. Repeat.
::Raises hand:::
Deliberately present Fake News, tank the markets, get suspended!! If this was a MasterCard commercial, it would be: Priceless!!!

This so-called investigation is over. Partisan investigators. Trump will say “You’re Fired” to Comey! Turn out the lights…

Well, I was just following the sage advice of “See Something, Say Something.” Dem corruption and sleaze doesn’t take Saturdays off. Now, take a few deep breaths so you don’t get light headed and have a “drawin’ spell.” With Flynn’s catastrophic “process crime” indictment (LOL!) and Trump’s “damaging” tweet yesterday, you must truly be drained. But, hey, at least this time, you soiled the FRONT of your underwear. LMAO!
Well, I’ve always strived to reach your level or maturity! Listen, it’s been at least 24 hours, please write something worthy of your Socialist roots, maybe something about income inequality or, or, or, or, I know, something about letting someone keep more of THEIR own money being catastrophic for society! Dazzle us, Drew!!
