News by the Numbers
20 (or 70) people – witnessed what the Free Times Press called “A weekend at the Catoosa County Film Festival” which included, but is not limited to, drunk wrestlers, European financiers, and sex syrup. Sounds like a Kremer Family Christmas party.
75 percent – of people will see their taxes go down under the GOP tax plan. You can use the New York Times’ interactive chart to determine whether you’ll see a tax increase or tax decrease.
$450 million – Star Wars: The Last Jedi had the second biggest opening ever, falling 11 percent short of The Force Awakens. In the United States alone, the movie brought in $220 million. Disney, ya doin good.
100 jets – were stranded on the Atlanta runway yesterday during a freak power outage that forced the FAA to close the entire airport and block interstate exits. As I write this, airport officials expect power to be restored by midnight.
1 year – has passed since Carrie Fisher died. The Last Jedi is her final film after Disney decided not to include her or her role in Episode 9. They handled her death very well in my opinion.
$0 – that’s how much the repeal of Net Neutrality will cost you. No, you won’t have to pay $2 per Google search or $10 a month for Facebook. Anyone who is spreading that around *cough* Georgia House Democrat Caucus Vice Chair *cough* is lying to you. Not to mention, they could do that under Net Neutrality.
700 employees – have resigned or been fired since Trump’s administration took over. Many, reportedly, resigned in disgust.
