- Two West Forsyth High School students were arrested yesterday for threatening to shoot up their school on social media. Neither had access to weapons.
- Republicans running for higher office proposed ending gun-free zones and employing more armed security.
- Another blunder that resulted in the deaths of 17 students was discovered late yesterday: The sheriff deputy assigned to the school never entered the building once gunfire started. He resigned after the news went public.
- Earlier this week, Governor Deal announced an income tax cut to offset a tax increases caused by federal tax reform. The House passed it yesterday.
- Missouri Governor Eric Greitens was indicted by a grand jury on a charge of invasion to privacy after a woman accused him of taking compromising photos of her for blackmail. His mugshot isn’t great.
