WSBTV is reporting Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms has asked her entire cabinet to resign. This comes on the heels of the indictment of Mitzi Bickers last week, with investigations continuing into high level associates within the Reed administration.
It appears that the new Mayor wants a clean break from the past. But with many no longer on the city payroll, there may be more folks willing to talk to U.S. Attorney BJ Pak about what they saw, know, or heard during the last eight years at Atlanta City Hall.
Updated: You can see who is in the Mayor’s cabinet here. It’s possible that not every resignation will be accepted, but there’s still a clear signal being sent that there’s a new sheriff in town. (Which, according to the cabinet list, could also include a new police chief)
