Atlanta in Running for 2020 Democratic National Convention

The coolest thing for politicos of any stripe is the chance to host a presidential nomination. Atlanta could have that opportunity for Democrats in 2020.

Earlier, the DNC had gauged interest from interested cities but now they’re in the Request for Proposal stage.

One wonders if Atlanta wins would the increased road security somehow improve traffic. That would ensure everyone is on board for the bid!
