Mike Huckabee Endorses Sen. Shafer in Lt. Governor’s Race
Sen. David Shafer, Republican candidate for Lt. Governor, announced an endorsement of his campaign by Mike Huckabee. Shafer states of Huckabee: “Mike Huckabee has been one of my political heroes, and I am even a bigger fan of his daughter Sarah Huckabee Sanders who does a tremendous job every day defending the President from unfair and ridiculous attacks.”
Huckabee joins former presidential candidates Newt Gingrich, Ted Cruz, and Rick Santorum as endorsers of Shafer’s campaign.
Huckabee:
“David Shafer is a rock solid conservative. He is unapologetically pro-life, a fearless defender of our Second Amendment rights and a staunch supporter of the President. He is a budget hawk who has fought for lower taxes. He understands that the role of government is to protect our God given rights and liberties. I am proud to endorse David Shafer for Lieutenant Governor of Georgia.”

On the Dem side, I believe Amico will win this. Triana James does not appear to be a serious candidate, having only raised $9900 so far and spent $8300.
Amico seems capable and has some good endorsements.
I still wonder why Barrow didn’t give this race a shot instead of SOS.
Figures it’s more winnable perhaps.
I’ll ask him if I see him!
So Shafer is a big fan of liars making excuses for liars. Good to know.
There are too many failed vanity presidential runs among that group of endorsers to count.
