Election Eve Open Thread
Many of our contributors are tied up with elections today, so we are without our morning reads. Take this as an opportunity to discuss tomorrow’s elections, the Royal Wedding, or anything else politically oriented.
Please keep it nice and civil, ya hear?

China is winning.

Is China on the ballot tomorrow? Any major endorsements?

I picked option 3.
It. Was. A. Joke.
I know… And your reply for glorious.
Open thread?
Dare I mention on this only one today that on the national scene it is pretty important that Pompeo threatened to “crush” Iran both economically and militarily today? This followed by fellow hawk Bolton blowing up the Korea talks with threats of “unilateral denuclearization” and patterning it by the “Libya model”.
With the local and state candidates trying to out Trump one another it is relevant. As is the current admistration’s ham handed economic dealings with China, well, and everyone else. Does the Georgia Republican Party wish to continue down this road?

A robocaller just told me that tomorrow is a 2-man race and I should support Hunter Hill.
Just got a text from Williams campaign to my cell. I’m on national no-call list. Ought to sue the campaign. How do the campaigns get our cells?
Politicians exempted themselves. Also charities. Not that it matters anyway given how many times “Tim” has called me about missing out on my
100K, 200K, now 500K small business loans. How many sales calls do y’all get on your cells? At least five for me.
Every day.
Just don’t answer. If your name doesn’t pop up when you call me that means I don’t want to talk to you. Who still answers calls from numbers they don’t know? If they want me they will leave a message.
I get at least 5 calls from unknowns per day. I’ve had the same cell phone number without a land line for ~20 years though. Of course I don’t answer the unknowns but many robocalls leave messages now. The latest trend is spoofing local area codes and the same exchange as my cell phone as they realized nobody answers the 800 ones.
I’ve literally gotten 20 different calls from the same female voice selling health insurance. I’ve blocked each number but they still come…
I’m always glad when the election season is over and the football season begins. One is hell, the other…
Same. Sales calls, I block the number, they call back with different area codes, different numbers…timeshares, online pharmacy, free cruises…ugh.
