- Kemp leads among male voters and has a substantial lead among female voters.
Early voting continues this week, with the runoff election next Tuesday July 24th.

A blowout? I’d be very surprised, given the Deal endorsement, the goper money/establishment backing and the whole idea of a Deal 2.0 administration. Of course, I’ve been surprised before.
I wouldn’t be. The Trump electorate senses it’s the cowards backing Cagle. GOP Congressmen have held back in choosing sides because the next Governor is in position to shape their districts.
Many gun-owners still remember Nathan Deal’s vetoes of several gun bills, his several veto statements proclaiming that Georgia Weapons Licensees are the problem in Georgia, and his willingness to kowtow to feelings of Leftist University Professors over the Constitution.
Perhaps voters are seeing the CC layers. Undoubtedly some private school and charter supporters aren’t happy that CC called their budget crumbs bad policy. Especially all those charter schools he has touted that he helped start. Others undoubtedly wondered if CC was just saying what he thought someone with the last name Tippens would want to hear. Curious if the poll was before or after the Hunter Hill/Trump endorsements.
If this is true, pre-trump, then Casey Cagle is finished in politics. The general election will be interesting because it will offer a clear choice between two candidates who couldn’t be more different if they tried. We’ll get the definitive answer to the question about Georgia turning blue or even purple. I don’t think Georgia is even close to a being a blue state but we’ll find out.
Ruh roh, Cagle! Looks like the Trump endorsement is kicking in big time for Kemp. That “git off my porch!” ad resonated with regular joes and jills too. But this week’s cah-cah flinging contest by both campaigns is probably the “x” factor — making it a question of who turns off the most voters. Too bad, both are actually decent guys.
Conducted July 17-18.
So I would say that the leaked tape has had a big effect and maybe the DT endorsement too. Undecided is still about the same as the last poll so quite a few have apparently switched recently.
The Great Man’s endorsement was obviously huge!!! Wow!! A Secretariat like win now seems likely!
