You made me go back and look at the calendar — he left DC on the morning of 7/10 and got back home the evening of 7/17. So I missed it by one day — 8 travel days instead of nine.
I also travel to Europe for business and pleasure, jet lagged all the way in both directions. Especially when traveling around to different countries while over there. Particularly Finland and countries that have so little night hours this time of year. Takes a couple of days/nights after getting back home to recuperate.

As someone who collects shells twice a year on the FL W coast to use in some of my work…you absolutely do NOT pick up anything that is still living or is occupied by an animal. That is not allowed. Needless to say it wouldnt be long before the smell would be horrible. I’ve been to the Keys and it is very well communicated that you dont collect conch shells that are occupied.

You must get told what to say by Hannity because no one else thinks that Strzok’s testimony was anything but bad news for the GOP. The basic question for conservatives is why didn’t he tell the press about how Trump’s campaign was running around meeting with Russians and bragging how the Russians were going to help them? It would have collapsed Trump’s campaign in a NY minute if that had gotten into the press.

He lives about a mile from me. I first met him when I was going out door to door campaigning to be commissioner. He seemed nice and very intelligent. He never stuck me as someone odd. I have heard through the community that the family has been dealing with this for a while. Sad situation.
Today The White House will release an Ivanka backed program to ‘promote high-tech retraining for workers’. The goal is to retrain workers in tech and AI and help companies with the cost so they can offer training to employees to lower job insecurity of existing workers as labor needs change. This is a Great Idea. I all for it!!! I’m just shocked though that Trump isn’t trashing it and throwing his daughter to the wolves the way he did 30 months ago when Hillary rolled out THE SAME plan in a policy speech in West Virginia. In fact he hated the plan so much he went on a tirade of Hillary hating miners which started this whole thing about save the coal industry and create new mining jobs (which so far really didn’t save or create that many – if any – jobs). Sure. Just like all those illegals who are driving with CA licenses and were automatically registered to vote by the issuance of the license. The land of fruits and nuts and flakes! So far not a single crime has been related to the Trump campaign — Mueller and henchmen have dug back decades for old tax records to find anything incorrect and indicted on those, grilled people and entrapped them with things like “what the meaning of is, is” so they could be charged with lying to the FBI, but I’ve seen no facts on any wrong-doing by the Campaign or POTUS.
I’m not sure, but I don’t believe any of the people you named in your speculation were hired or paid a penny by the Trump Campaign. A couple of those were fundraisers, and a couple were hangers-on like every political campaign has. As to “the Russians”, that is a generalization like “the Americans” and still speculation. Nope, rumors about all those are not legit in any way – just things to ramp up the leftist political base.
What I’m saying is that if all the things were going on that those people now say were, then all of them were derelict in their duties and so was he. But leftists/socialists/Democrats don’t care. None of what you say is making any sense. You seem more convinced that Trump is in danger than I am. I think he will survive to run again. It’s like you assume that he is going to be guilty of something but you are trying to convince yourself that if he didn’t personally hack the DNC computer then anything else would be OK. Let’s say that in the course of investigating the Russian money trail they find that Trump was laundering money for oligarchs. I suppose that would be OK since it didn’t change the election?

The big story today is the coverup. Trump knew the Russians ordered a cyberattack right after the election. Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely.

The question is- how to respond to something like that scenario. In other words, not every crime justifies the death penalty. If you came home and found that situation you might call the police or some agency, who would presumably try to investigate that persons background and situation, and find a humane way to deal with them based on that information.

The world is full of gray areas. It seems a lot of people want to see things as black/white. So like if someone breaks into your house they no longer are human and have no rights and their welfare or even survival do not need to be considered. Zero tolerance. I think culturally we have decided that that’s not the way civilized societies behave. We’re not some post-apocalyptic wasteland with no rules or standards of decency. Yet.

That’s what I mean- there is really no way to prevent someone from breaking into my car. Just like there is no way to really prevent people from “breaking into” the country. We can do reasonable precautions but it’s still going to happen, so the question becomes: What do we do then? You guys get all bent out of shape about it happening and ignore any possible ways to deal with it. It’s like you expect a magic wand to make it stop happening. The Wall is not a magic wand. That’s why you and your Chosen One are not taken seriously and receive so much criticism. The analogy is far from useful because of its premise. I think it was a journalist who got it close- saying that it wasn’t a thief breaking into your home- at least with regard to asylum seekers. That’s more like someone running from a murderer who jumps into your window for safety. The real criminal (the wanna-be murderer) won’t enter your house, but you can choose to protect the would-be victim. Or you can kick them out and let them get murdered.

Here is my take on the average American protester today…mostly someone with an attitude problem. Sure there are problems but…Where in the hell else can do you say and do anything at all with no consequences? Anyone can work hard and be successful in the freest country on earth. It is not easy to come from poor circumstances but you can overcome it here. So I would say 99% of folks in this country should get on their knees and kiss the ground and thank the Lord with a sense of sincere gratitude. If you don’t, that’s too bad. You are limiting yourself and your happiness if you ask me.
