I’d welcome Trump publicly campaigning in metro Atlanta on behalf of anyone. I think a high profile Karen Handel appearance with Trump would push the seat close to toss up territory. I doubt she’ll mention Trump at all except privately or but a little bit if absolutely necessary.

As John Kelly said, and I still chuckle to my self every time I think of it, “He’s gone off the rails, We’re in crazytown”, and other than Trump supporters know it. It may be just optimism on my part, but I think the GOP’s nearly total deference to Trump and the GOP Congress’ abdication of its duty to check a divider of such low intelligence and character is will noticeably benefit Democrats across the board. I anticipate state house seat flips of a few GOP seats in districts where Trump support is weak.
Well, the numbers for the GOP are bad pretty much across the board. Scott Walker said they are losing white women by the boatloads. How that is going to translate into some of these districts remains to be seen.
It may translate to the extent that Walker is looking for a new job soon.
Trump is going to preside over a UN Security council. It’s been announced he will focus on berating Iran and weakening our alliances. It’s another cause for American embarrassment on the world stage, but if you’re an establishment Republican, tax cuts for the rich and undermining of health care are worth it.
I was listen to the tech hearing live when the Loomer protest began and Re Long did his thing. It was so fun I listened to it twice. What was interesting was what happened after that. Loomer got her Twitter army to attack Rep. Billy Long as being a liberal anti Trump socialist. Seriously, the Alt Right Loomer and army started labeling Long as a leftist troll who verbally attacked a conservative women. Who knew a conservative congressman could be a leftist troll.
Nothing is ever be too far right. Any tradition, sense of decorum or law or process or judicial precedent that stands in the way should be cast aside, changed or reversed.

Well, it’s not rocket science if you read something other than Breitbart. The Russians stole more than emails. They stole Hillary’s data. They gave the data to Cambridge Analytica which was the Trump campaign’s data firm. It’s not too difficult to figure out. One of the Cambridge Analytica people has turned state’s evidence on all this. Targeted propaganda. They even convinced some foolish tea partiers to carry out their dirty work for them.

How does a dossier that says Trump is a deviant, the same unverified info was used to spy on his campaign. paid for by Hillary by the way AND the FBI to real Russian spies, spread by the FBI and leaked, and used to frame him, how in the HELL DOES THAT HELP TRUMP?

Dave, where is this disaster you see? Seems like the US is enjoying the best economy in decades. No major wars. Folks working. US is getting stronger. Military is being upgraded… Nato actually starting to pay their fair share for the first time in decades, we haven’t given North Korea or Iran billions of dollars like before….The US is the largest producer of energy on earth so no more energy shortages for hundreds of years…We are now exporting a ton of energy instead of importing 40% of our energy needs 10 years ago…folks can find work and honestly it is hard to find good workers…Consumer confidence is at record levels, small businesses are hiring and expanding…conservative Supreme Court justices are being added…so help me here. What is so “turble” as Charles Barkley would say?

I read the link. The dude is certainly entitled to criticize and state his case, but I can also see how the tweet could be considered a direct threat or instigation to commit violence, the former being a possible actual crime (not my area of expertise), and both being violations of company policy. He may not have meant it to come across that way, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t actually come across that way.
As a comparison, if someone had tweeted the same or something similar abt Trump, you’d might suggest that the Secret Service investigate and lock him up. In fact, I’m pretty sure folks have suggested locking up actors portraying Julius Caesar or something. So, being in a Twitter time-out seems pretty meh. But what they could have done better is tell the tweeter exactly what was offensive or violative of policy, and offered suggested improvements.
And one thing it appears that Twitter is going to start putting into time-out anyone who gives them beef. So no back talk to Mommy and Daddy.
An aside- This also makes me wonder- what if Trump retweets some white supremacist thing again? Now that Twitter’s clamping down on policy violations, and since the Pres.’ account has also been ruled to be a public forum… that sounds like a mess waiting to happen.
