Do you realize that fracking had to be banned in Ohio because it was causing earthquakes for the first time in the history of the state? So you’re fine with people’s homes being destroyed because you’re too lazy to think of other solutions to problems? You really don’t do science do you? Oil and gas exports are going up, way up. Oil companies are lobbying hard to extract every resource and sell it overseas as fast as they can. If Conservatives really cared about “energy independence” they would encourage keeping resources at home for our use.
Fracking causes multi environmental problems as does oil and gas extraction by spoiling land, air, and water. Most of those issues could be avoided. Production of Solar panels and electric batteries also have environmental problems from mining and production. So there are no, perfect products, just less impactful.
Look up fungible and commoditization. Oil is not owned by the US but by companies that trade it in the free market. Unless a company or the country the owns the company is sanctioned, oil will be sold in the exchanges. Just like any fungible. So if Exxon has X amount of oil listed for sale, they can’t control who buys it if they are not under a sanction.

The implication in the latest voter suppression controversy is that the some voter registrations were suppressed because the voters were black. The only way the Secretary of State office could know this is if the race of the voter is on the application. Why does the voter registration application ask for the race of the voter?
