Special Session Could Adjourn Sine Die on Saturday
The Georgia Senate will reconvene tomorrow, Saturday, November 17 at 8:30 a.m. to vote on the following:
- HB 1EX – Supplemental appropriations; State Fiscal Year July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019 (APPROP – 4th) Ralston – 7th
- HB 4EX – Income tax; tax credit for certain taxpayers based on certain expenses incurred due to Hurricane Michael (FIN – 52nd) Rhodes – 120th
- HB 5EX – Governor; executive order suspending collection of sales and use tax levied on jet fuel; ratify (APPROP – 4th) Rhodes – 120th
If the Senate agrees on the bills cleanly, then the session will adjourn Sine Die. The House Democrats will return on Monday for its Caucus elections.

Oh wow. So none of the stuff alleged here https://www.georgiapol.com/2018/11/13/legislative-coup-or-hurricane-relief/ (without evidence and completely out of character for Deal and most of the other GOPers in the first place) occurred. Gee, what a surprise. (Not really).
Oh absolutely! I thought the same thing (NC) when Deal announced this special session. The party has lost its principles and are playing like a ruffian soccer club, hell bent on destroying anything not for their team.
