Early voting has started. Make sure your vote counts… and if you aren’t happy with how it turns out… sue.
UGA vs Kennesaw State University in basketball…
The other Georgia is still having their runoff and their vote is today, and they are looking for tourists.
SK Innovations bringing 2,000 jobs to GA making batteries for Mercedes and Hyundai-Kia.
Threats leads to lockdown. Threats turn out to not be credible. Surprised there isn’t a quip about finger pointing (e.g. ice storms).
That time when the Cobb County Republican Party calls Layla Shipman a “bitch” and “honey”:

This time a year ago, the NY Times published a story about a Ohio man who participated in White Nationalist groups. The article created a controversy. Many people said the article made a terrible person look like an ordinary human being. After reading the article, and some of the pieces that came out afterwards, I decided the opposite was true. Tony Hovater is like the libertarian in the break room… the one who will not shut up, and go back to work.
Another article on the Decatur schools threat:

God speed the investigation and conviction.
Pretty brutal take down last night in Mississippi. Obviously, this was a Trump Tribute Victory. TGM delivers yet again! My new favorite number is 5347!! Wonder when the oft-indicted Espy will begin to play the race card?! You think he’s already called Stacey for advice? Hmmmm…it’s 957. I say within the hour… Let us pray the Supreme Court Poe-leece Department keeps the ice off those steps leading up to the front door!
McCain and Romney beat Obama 60ish % to 40ish % in 2008 & 2012. Trump beat Clinton 66% to 33%. Hyde Smith beat Epsy by 54% to 46%. The GOP lost ground in in the GOP strongholds in the northwest border counties (Memphis suburbs) The coastal counties, and college towns. This is a state the GOP should have won with at least 60-65% of the vote. The last time a MS senate seat was 10 points apart was in the 1980’s. This is the 5th consistently red state that loss notable GOP numbers (NC, TN, GA, TX) in the midterm.
Explain please how this is a ‘pretty brutal take down’? Please be specific in your methodology.
The incremental march towards the inevitable defeat of the Southern Strategy is pretty brutal. Because it’s happening slowly.
We should give Espy a participation trophy and a pardon.
Here’s the truth: https://www.newyorker.com/humor/borowitz-report/cindy-hyde-smith-says-she-never-lost-faith-in-mississippis-racists
Mississippi is last in everything for a reason. Ignorance breeds bigotry breeds Trump/Hyde!
Wow! Devotion to TGM shows no bounds! Truly inspirational!

That is truly impressive!
Another glass ceiling shattered! Hyde-Smith first Mississippi woman elected to Congress! Wow! Progress on display!
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2018/11/27/cindy-hyde-smith-becomes-1st-woman-elected-congress-mississippi/21
Yep the tolerant conservatives shine again! I am sure that liberals will be hating on her in no time instead of celebrating! I thought this was the year of the woman. Just liberal women.
Do you all think she’s received a congratulatory call some Stacey? I mean, they both were striving to be “firsts”?! Her name will go down with the likes of Sally Ride and Sandra Day O’Connor!!!!
Well, they were close to the last state to do so (just over a century since the very 1st woman elected to Congress), and with a candidate still trapped in the ethics of a century ago. But hey, it’s not nothing.
The most odd fact is that Vermont apparently hasn’t elected a woman to Congress yet, so this may be the only thing ever where Mississippi is even arguably more “progressive” than Vermont. Mississippi will forever now be the Vermont of the South.
So let’s see, Milton buys 43 Tasers for $68,250.
https://www.ajc.com/news/local/milton-oks-68k-deal-replace-police-tasers/NRN78LuhPYkrzcMS4YdIvL/
That works out to $1587 ea.
The most expensive one I can find online is $1275. Add a holster for $100 and it sill doesn’t look like much of a deal.
Are they buying some special (expensive) model? Is there some ‘value-added’ to the purchase?
Find an old editorial cartoon of Weinburger with a toilet seat over his head and you’ve basically got the same principle.
Maybe the GOP now has enough women senators to appoint one to the Judiciary committee so they don’t have to hire a woman to come ask questions next time. Progress!
Or the Repub men won’t get the Heebee Jeebies and ask the appropriate questions of a lying witness and to hell with PC crap!
Here’s what trump has done to the GOP and what he’s trying to do to America.

This is the very essence of MAGA!

Howdy gang! I just got rid of the last out-of-town guests and family members, after over a week of too much togetherness. I know that God created family so that we don’t have to fight with strangers, but refereeing all the different opinions got pretty old, pretty fast.
Jumping back into Georgiapol feels downright comfortable this evening. Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving!
