Our favorite Guam Explorer Congressman is in the news again. https://freebeacon.com/politics/republican-jewish-coalition-house-censure-hank-johnson-comparing-trump-hitler/
Stupid remarks by Johnson. You’re reaching back over eight years to cite another stupid remark when they roll forth from Trump’s pie-hole on nearly a daily basis. Fair and balanced.
Why does the age of Chef’scomments bother you? You were positively euphoric to hear Blassy Ford’s 35 year old lies! Be a little consistent!
Bother? Not in the least. I merely took the opportunity to point out how weak and fetid the GOP is intellectually.
Ford’s statements were credible. The only certain lies were Kavanaugh denying his underage drunkenness. Being a drunk isn’t disqualifying. Being a liar is. But that’s the Republican Party for you.
What a race baiting buffoon. Those are not stupid comments. They are hateful, divisive and worse. Hitler comparisons…can you go any lower? Lets see a guy lowers taxes, reduces regulations, attempts to control borders, record low unemployment and improves the military. More freedom. Lowers sentences for modest drug offenders…this sounds like a Nazi to folks? Spare us the histrionics.
Cans you think of anyone conservatives as hateful as this, Farrakhan, Maxine and the rest.
Who is it banning free speech, race baiting, intimidating tactics. What did those Supreme Court hearings look like? Trumped up Russian collusion charges…
If conservatives were doing the things that liberals are doing right now, would you guys be concerned? Why do you allow such behavior?
Hatred a cornerstone of the parties these days. It is not healthy is it.
There are some very fine people on both sides.
Ang, the point is we just have to listen to hyperventilating lies from the left almost daily. Its almost all one sided. Conservatives are capitalists that want a job and to work. Raise families. You know live a life without too much hassle.
The Hank Johnson Idiocy, the end is near climate panic hysteria, the lies from the left that sounded exactly like Trump not long ago when it comes to immigration and borders, watching a group of knuckleheads follow, a failed philosophy indistinguishable from the Communist Party USA, a group of clowns that knows nothing more that taxing and regulating you do death and you are right in he middle of it suffering from a massive case of Snowflake frostbite.
Its comical, sad, illogical, embarrassing and so easy to point out. Why would anyone support it is beyond me but maybe you can offer some reasonable explanation at some point.
Dude, go to the website. I have linked if for over a year. You tell me something you disagree with. Here it is again if you are too chicken to go to it and respond!!
Boy do you wear the Snivler handle well! What party is Bernie Sanders been a member of for 30 years? Hell maybe 50 years. The socialist party. Why deny it?
Wear it with honor. Then go look at this. I though we were supposed to link to appropriate articles…Ding, ding, ding!
If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then maybe…..! Get back to us little buddy!
http://www.CPUSA.org
Why don’t you just admit it Bernie is card carrying socialist. That’s fine. Quack quack. And so is the democratic party. It’s okay! The policies may not work but they sound so compassionate. That’s okay too!
Oh little buddy, I pointed out some of the things Trump has accomplished and you offered no criticism or rebuttal—just a strand of pearls.
Don’t you think a pearl necklace is appropriate when you describe the entire liberal agenda? Are you still working on trying to name something Obama did to help create a job?! A bailout to liberal charities, no shovel ready jobs and Cash for Clunkers aint much to hang yo’ hat on is it?!
Did anyone else yesterday take not of the WH sending an exclusive press release of MAGA “I’ve accomplished more in my first 500 days than any other President” accomplishments to the Washington Examiner that was printed as news so that Trump could tweeted about it? It’s what’s done in Russia—the Putin administration prepares the “news”.
Or how about the televised cabinet meeting featuring a large motion picture promotion type poster of Trump laid out on the conference table? Next time have a framed poster on the wall. Just like “Lil’ Kim” ‘n ‘nem do.
And how about Trump sharing his elementary schoolers knowledge of foreign policy? “The president acted like — and had the understanding of — a ‘fifth or sixth grader.’ — John Mattis It’s a bonus accomplishment that only took him two years to attain.
The media only points out the good on Trump https://youtu.be/qjUvfZj-Fm0
If you look past Washington 2018 was a great year. http://www.jewishworldreview.com/0119/hanson010319.php3
On the shutdown, whenever I hear ppl say that it doesn’t matter if you get paid tmrrw instead of today, I always take issue with that, based on the morality of what y’all would call the Old Testament:
Deuteronomy 24:15—“You must pay them their wages each day before sunset, because they are poor and are counting on it. Otherwise they will cry out to the LORD against you, and you will be held guilty.”
Leviticus 19:13— “Do not make your hired workers wait until the next day to receive their pay.”
When there are two Torah proscriptions on the same topic, it is a sign of the importance of the law/standard. It should be obvious that ppl need to get paid when they’re counting on it. It’s even intuitively the right thing. In fact, the verse from Leviticus is preceded by a proscription against theft and fraud, so withholding pay is actually associated with fraud.
That may be between Trump and God, or whoever and God, but its important to recognize the moral issues involved. And so you have to ask whether the wall issue can be negotiated without holding ppl’s paychecks hostages. And of course it can. We’ll see if the Dem bills to fund the gov, and isolate the wall funding issue, are taken up by Senate Repubs, passed, and signed. But if they’re not, I think there will be moral objection from many who understand the issue intuitively, who see no reason for 800,000 to suffer when there’s only one issue to figure out.
“And Mexico shall pay for the wall.” So let it be written. So let it be done.
As Congress ponders regulating tech companies, we really need Sociologist to weigh in on the negatives and positives of instant, pervasive information (propaganda) sharing. I contend the net effect of social media is negative because it allows so much misinformation to spread so fast, it is constant and calls for a visceral reaction to each and every post. We no longer have time to reflect or think deeply about anything because we’ve got to move to the next sugar high outrage.

Psssst, Jessica. It’s January 3, 2019, not December 3. At least the year is right…… Happy New Year!

Or…could it be a strategy? Creating a crisis out of thin air is a well known strategy for deflecting?
Paul Ryan’s legacy? A nothing burger of what the Republicans called a fiscally conservative policy wonk devoid of policy and that added $3,000,000,000,000 to the national debt.
Dave what was Obama’s debt toll? Didn’t he oversee a doubling of the national debt in his 8 years? You know he did…Just getting you to be fair.
I bet we all agree that neither side has any intention of staying within spending limits. If not, why did Pelosi waive the national debt limit or something along those lines?
In my humble opinion, the only way to pay for all of the obligations is through economic growth. Does anyone disagree with that? If you froze or constrained spending over time, that should help take care of it. Do any conservatives or liberals think our leadership on either side has the balls to do that?
The democrats have such an anti growth agenda, they can’t muster the growth to pay. You can never tax you way to prosperity. See all of socialist countries. Government hardens the growth arteries.
The conservatives have a growth agenda. Will it be enough? That is the only possible solution with some degree of spending control.
The deficit did double during the Obama administration. Obama began with the worst financial in 80 years and job losses in the hundreds of thousands a month.
Republicans beginning with a good economy implement tax cuts for the rich run up the deficit. A small upside is Republican concern about the deficit has been exposed as a 25 year lie.
Most Republicans expressing concerns about the deficit has the credibility of Kavanaugh denying he was an underage drunk.
Conservatives do have a growth agenda. It’s to grow income inequality.
Income inequality is solved by getting better education and training yo make better employment options available. If not, shut the eff up and serve those fries. It’s not fixed by raiding the wallet of the more successful.
Nasty. Spoken like a true Republican.
