- Savannah Children’s Hospital is one very tangible step closer to becoming a reality.
- The Gwinnett MARTA vote is as “fundamental” to the county as water and sewer infrastructure.
- The lovely story of a Valdosta empanada maker.
- The editor of the 1979 yearbook at the University of North Carolina expected an outcry over racist photos – but she didn’t expect to have to wait nearly 30 years for that outcry.
- An affluent northern California community is torn over whether they should change the name of their school district from the Dixie School District to something perhaps less incendiary and offensive to many residents.

In their worries about school names, those Marin County folks are just whistling Dixie.
So is Trump dealmaker going to embarrass the GOP again by rejecting the deal with $1.375B for the wall and require further negotiations that result in even less? That’s been the pattern. Remember Trump embarrassing the toady weirdo’s $1.5B deal in Dec, after rejecting the early December $1.6B deal? Dealmaker Trump will boast about the results and the GOP base will revel in Trump’s success unless Hannity and Coulter weigh in against it.
Congrats on being elected a County delegation officer.

Trump has staff rooting around for wall money. US military construction, e.g. Savannah River dredging money, and Disaster Relief have been identified as funds sources. Maybe Georgia will have to suck it up for the cause of national security.
