Welcome to last Wednesday…
Sorry for the repeat. My excuses are age and occasionally my employer wants me to do something for him and I am not always around. The short excuse, I missed it…..
No harm, no foul.

I’m going to file a bill tomorrow to ban private prisons in Georgia.
I don’t think there should be a profit motive to incarcerate people. And, it’s not any cheaper.
Good night.
I agree.
Gonna let the MAGA Hat Kid’s lawsuit breathe a bit before weighing in. While Jewell may be a nice feather in Wood’s cap, I’ll note he also represented John & Patsy Ramsey and Gary Condit.
Much ado about miscommunication on both sides. Now there’s a change for you.
Go get em Nick Sandmann. I want more than a pound of leftist flesh. Don’t settle for a nice chunk. Make the left pay. Not only for what they did to you but also the complete BS they pulled on Brett Kavanaugh. It is time to hold the PR arm of the Democratic Party, aka the mainstream media, responsible for their constant spewing of fake news.
You are a perfect example of the worst this country has to offer.
You’re not asking for justice. You’re not asking for fairness.
You want “a pound of leftist flesh” to even a score based on two completely disconnected events.
Explain the “complete BS” they pulled on Kavanaugh.
Then tell us all about Fox News being “Fair & Balanced” in their Uranium 1 reporting for the last 900 days.
I’m all ears.
I see you fell for the bait…
You should check out the book Spygate.
Nope Chatsprint, it is the anti Christian bigots on the left that are the worst this country has to offer.
And on Kavanaugh’s, everyone with the critical thinking skills of my basset hound knows that ALL of the charges against him were a BS assault on him because he is a believing Catholic conservative.
And in this Covington case, a pound, or a ton ,of leftist flesh IS justice.
I want them all to hurt. Badly.
Gorsush is a Catholic conservative. No one accused him of sexual assault.
Methinks your memory is selective.
Ummm Pope, Gorsuch is not Catholic
Gorsuch was raised Catholic, attended the same Catholic school high school as Kavannaugh, then was married in The Church of England (his wife was English at the time), and goes to a Episcopal church. However; there is no record he has converted.
Sooooo, he attends an episcopal church. He does not attend mass, and you consider him a Catholic. Okay. Somehow that does not surprise me.
My aunt’s hubby is Lutheran. He has attended mass every Sunday of my life at a Catholic church. His children were baptized and raised Catholic. Unless he converts, he is still a Lutheran. Unless Gorsuch converts or is ex-communicated, he is a non-practicing Catholic.
That’s the way the rules of Catholicism roll…
Sounds like there is also a lack of lines of logic by confounding Catholicism and whatever else the real issue is conjectured to be about. Being against conflict at a public monument is not being anti-Catholic. Being against Trump or MAGA hats is not being anti-Catholic, even if we assumed that was the issue was entirely about (which it wasn’t, because you know, reality is never pure and unambiguous). Being against abortion bans is not anti-Catholic. Being against sexual assault, or lying under oath, is not being anti-Catholic. Etc., etc., etc.
Having one set of values and advocating for them or representing them doesn’t mean you hate or despise the opposing message or messenger or advocate. Just a dash of wisdom or maturity knows that.
Badly enough to pick up your tiki torch and hit the streets ?
Badly enough to grab your AK and head for the nearest synagogue ?
Badly enough to mail off a few pipe bombs to political figures and the media ?
Because that’s exactly the persona you portray in these type posts.
I did find great humor in “everyone with the critical thinking skills of my basset hound knows that ALL of the charges against him were a BS assault on him because he is a believing Catholic conservative.”
In general, do you hang with a lot of people that have the critical thinking skills of a basset hound ? Might be your sign.
Lemme guess, you believe Smollett amirite? And chief Talking Bull. And the Kavanaugh accusers.
Doesn’t sound to me much like you have a lotta room to be throwing shade at my basset hound
You don’t know what critical thinking skills means do ya ?
I warned you…
Charges weren’t proven. But then again they weren’t property investigated either. And his lying under oath was evident to nearly everyone.
Thanks, Alpha! Spot on as always.
Expect the next shoe-dropping Lin Wood lawsuit to be against a non-media leftist who puked out withering vitriol against Sandmann.
Then after that one, a suit against a regular-guy kind of leftist who did likewise. Who remembers the small-time file sharer, who maybe shared a single music file in the Napster days? The recording industry came falling like a ton of bricks on some of them, too.
Great News from the Supreme Court. I hope this helps Rep. Scot Turner’s HB 295 move along.

Entrenched interests will not go down without a fight, but the tide may be turning enough to let Georgia catch up to Mississippi on forfeiture reform:

One of the few remaining bipartisan issues….
Phoenix Lighting, the Movie…
A investment platform (AKA hedge fund) having gained funds and additional investors from companies moving out of country funds back to the US, thanks to ‘the tax act’, buys a 4th generation family owned industrial business. The new dynamic and bold CEO hired by the platform, in a M & A 5 months latter buys up a supplier of that business which owns some form of technology or paten the platform needs to ‘grow’. The CEO will then close down one of the facilities, and move production to the other location. They will ‘down size’ any duplicate office staff that could be relocated, layoff everyone else, hire 1/3 of what they laid off in their new location – most likely at a lower wage, cancel all local contracts with suppliers, shipping/freight, and services, then sell off the unwanted building. The platform will then pay out a small dividend to it’s share holders and give the CEO of that business a 200% raise.
Welcome the remake of the “The 80’s – M&A post Reagan Tax Cut”, to be followed by the anticipated sequel “The Pre-Recession Era”. The remake of the 3rd movie, the 1987 October horror story “Black Monday” is pending the results of the current versions.
I’m just going to leave this here…

Have you ever wondered why “damn son of a bitch” is such a potent insult?
No I have not. Still don’t.
Word is Mueller reports next week. One theory is that it will say Trump was an unwilling dupe. If that is the final word expect Trump to pardon all of those indicted from their process crimes. Within 48 hours. There will not be enough Blue Emu or ice to cool down his signing hand.
I think Mueller will find a whole lot of smoke but not the smoking gun needed to indict or impeach. Any fool can see that Trump has acted in a way so damaging to the institutions of this country that he must be doing the bidding of some hostile foreign power. He has deliberately alienated our traditional allies and embraced brutal dictators at every turn. He is one of the most divisive and unpopular figures in American history. But, he was duly elected and if we want to get rid of him, we must see that he is handily defeated in the next election.
If it does come out next week, the report is likely to invoke the limitations of the investigation itself, such as the Trump camp’s opposition to an in-person interview, and the scope regarding Russia vs. Trump Corp. In that case, it’ll essentially be a hand-off to the House committees, and maybe even the Southern Dist. of NY.
But who knows what we’ll get to see.
Lotta preemptive excuse making I see. Wassup widat? Y’all losing confidence?
No excuses! Trump has impeded the investigation at every step of the way. He’s dangled pardons, refused to be interviewed and sent a demented Rudy Giuliani out to billow a steady stream of out right lies on a nightly basis.
He may not get indicted but Jr. Is in real jeopardy.
“Russia, if you’re listening…”
Mueller has been on point, and has drawn lines based on his interpretation of the scope of the investigation, his acceptance of DoJ guidelines, practical considerations of whether to subpoena the President or not, etc. No excuses in my book. What he finds pursuant to his mandate and decisions will speak for itself. I just want honest and accurate findings. If we get to see anything. I know I wanna see.
And then, either way, the House will proceed pursuant to their guidelines.
Rule of law? Who coulda thunk it?
So now the PSC has agreed to delay the mandatory report on the delays at Plant Vogtle. I can only assume that because ratepayers are being robbed a little at a time over many, many years this issue has not sparked the outrage that a scandal of this proportion should have.
Steal small and over a long period of time and they’ll just get used to it?

And now the state wants to do the same thing at Hartsfield/Jackson. At least nobody is forced to use the airport.
Cus I like charts…
