I guess if you spend any amount of time around John Oxendine and Ralph Hudgins sleaziness is bound to rub off on you. Then again, using the Christian Coalition for money laundering is right out of the Ralph Reed playbook.
I’d be surprised if the conservative Republicans in the General assembly don’t pass a bill making his crimes legal retroactive. The play book has been if you’re a Republican in Georgia and you want to break the law, just get the legislature to make what you want to do legal. See Kemp (exact match) Perdue (tax) Deal (nepotism and post service graft).
Georgia Powers (Plant Vogle), Ralston (selling justice).
This only applies if you’re a white man. People like Linda Shrenko go to jail forever even though they are conservative Republicans.
“Beck largely self-bankrolled his GOP primary campaign for insurance commissioner last year”
So Beck would have allegedly funded his campaign with stolen money?
Nice (alleged) scam. Looking forward to seeing how this was uncovered.
