A thing about Trump and his circle and team is that they don’t care if you know they’re crooked. Wednesday night saw two new Trump pardons. A billionaire California Assemblyman convicted of campaign violations warranted pardon as a “friend” of Kushner and by speaking out to criticize the Trump-Russia investigation. Trump pardoned billionaire and Trump business partner Conrad Black for writing a a tribute to Trump’s success and genius. ”[The book] defends Trump against charges that he is a racist, stating flatly that he is not. It hails his “very successful” foreign policy ventures. It credits his “unquenchable energy,” “sheer entertainment talent” and “raw toughness.”
Black spent over three years in prison after conviction on fraud and obstruction of justice charges—Trump pardoning fraud and obstruction isn’t co-incidence. Well played on both sides.
Dallas, Boston, Washing DC, Cleveland, New York, Paris, Hong Kong, Qatar, Berlin, Beijing would look very different without his buildings in the landscape.

Why the vitriol from Democrats regarding Barr’s looking into the origin of the Russia investigation? If it was all perfectly in order, wouldn’t that just bring a piece of mind ending to this whole process?
Just maybe the donks feel Barr is more interested in serving as Trump’s personal lawyer than the chief lawyer of the federal government.
btw, why the vitriol from Republicans regarding public release of the Mueller report? If the report completely exonerates Trump and his administration, wouldn’t release just bring a peaceful ending to this whole process?
KAMALA HARRIS: Has the president or anyone at the White House ever asked or suggested you open an investigation into anyone?
TRUMP’s LAWYER BARR: …. ah …
KAMALA HARRIS: Seems like something you should be able to answer
BARR: I don’t know …
Like most Republicans, Barr can’t remember what happened yesterday if it doesn’t suit the cult leader today, but has total recall from decades ago when it does.
