Morning Reads for Tuesday, May 28
Good morning! I hope you’re on vacation – but if you are on vacation, why on earth are you reading this?
- This past Saturday, a large group of abortion rights supporters marched from the Capitol to CNN Center to protest HB 481.
- Glynn County is the “Wild West” of short-term rentals.
- Middle Georgia, get ready for your roundabouts! And remember, the answer to almost every question about roundabouts is, COUNTERCLOCKWISE!
- Savannah/Hilton Head Airport continues to grow.
- U.S. 17 is set to be widened – but before that work can begin, the archaeologists will do their investigations into historic settlements.
- The High Museum of Art in Atlanta was named the best-designed building in Georgia.
- In a decision that was met with bipartisan objections, the Trump administration is laying off more than 1,000 Job Corps workers, in an abrupt decision from the Agriculture Secretary.
